Perfect spot for visiting Marblehead
Marblehead is a beautiful place to visit, and having a comfortable place to rest at the end of the day makes it that much better! The Yachtsman was clean and nicely decorated. My husband and I felt at home right away. We will be back just as soon as we can.

First time to Marblehead
The property was just as described in the listing. It is very clean and well located in the center of things. Easy to get to and easy to park. We had great communication with the owners. We loved Marblehead and hope to go back someday. Everyone in town was very friendly.
This place is nicely appointed with furnishings and newer appliances. The location is prime and makes walking to shops very easy. I was concerned about the very obvious, easy to guess numeric passcodes for getting into the apartment and reached out to host about changing these before our stay. He graciously made it happen and I hope he keeps the codes changed; it made me feel safer about our stay. I also suggested he label the garbage disposal switch in the kitchen for safety and hope he does so. We had HVAC issues- apparently during change of seasons, if the upper apt (also owned by host) sets the mini splits to heat and the lower apt wants cool air (as we did), this is not possible. We spent almost the entirety of our stay without working air but host was in communication with us and his HVAC contact trying to problem-solve. It finally kicked on around 10 pm our final night because the upstairs guests had checked out. If these issues were resolved, our stay would have been nearly perfect. Very comfortable and stylish and can't beat the convenience!

A wonderful property!
We enjoyed our stay - everything was A+!, the kitchen, bathroom and the living room were great and we loved watching the Olympics on streaming TV.
The property is located in the historical section of marblehead, with many beautiful properties and is close to the water and some nice in-town parks. Matt, the owner, provides exceptionally good service and is a great communicator. There is a booklet which he made up which included a lot of very helpful information, including the fact that a bus stop is just a few minutes from the property, and can link to the Blue line into Boston. We took advantage of this to go see the aquarium. We were able to find parking across the street, but Marblehead was doing street cleaning while we were there, and the reserved parking spot for the building is several blocks away. It could be challenging for some people to walk or carry luggage that distance if parking is not available across the street. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in visiting an historic New England town.
Marblehead was a wonderful place to stay! The houses, along with the town have a wonderful personality and history. The people were friendly and the coffee shops were wonderful. The house was open with a great view from the kitchen.
This was perfect for my week in Marblehead. A few minutes stroll to the harbor, town wharf, restaurants and Old Town in general. I found street parking easily and there's a dedicated spot in a nearby lot if needed.
The kitchen has new stove and fridge, and the dining area can seat four with a yard view with plenty of day light.
The bath is nicely tiled and lit by the morning sun. The bedroom is large; enough space to lay out a mat for stretching or a resistance band workout and the bed and mattress invites rest at day's end.
The entry room is also large and I enjoyed one of the easy chairs with my feet up for reading with the north window gently lighting my book.
Matt was available in real time to answer my few questions, it's nice to have management living near.
Check in and check out were smooth and easy.
All in all, a nice treat for one or two folks.

A lovely weekend in Old Town
My husband and I recently stayed in Old Town Marblehead. We had the opportunity to stay in the Yachtsman Suite which was perfectly located in Old Town. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops with ease. Walking the historic streets of this town was so interesting and the views of the bay and ocean were stunning. The first floor apartment was comfortable and quiet. Kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. Place was clean and in a great location. We will definitely be back.
