About this property

Peaceful Bolivar beachfront home w/ footpath access to the Gulf of America

Depending on the calendar, we can adjust check-in and check-out times that suit your schedule!

Make yourself at home in our peaceful 1,500 sqft beach house! You can step out onto the wide expanse of sand from the Golf cart and pedestrian-only beach access located directly next to the home. Enjoy the unobstructed view from the spacious deck, grill some fresh seafood on the BBQ (next to the outdoor shower), or have a blast splashing in the salty water of the newly minted Gulf of America.

Located 10 minutes from the Bolivar Ferry Landing, the home is convenient for Galveston day trips.

We've included linens, small toiletries, and towels with the property to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. The Master bedroom has a walk-in closet, while the 2 smaller bedrooms have both dressers and closets. The Smart TV in the main room has Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ included with it. We have a game cabinet with a selection of board games!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
No need to strip the sheets or run laundry. Just make sure you don't forget anything!
Please leave all excess food in the refrigerator, in case it takes our cleaning team longer than usual to arrive.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The keys go back into the key box. There is a $100 lost key fee, which covers the complete replacement of the front and back door lock sets.
Accidents happen. If something breaks, please tell me. I'd rather hear it from you than from the cleaners.
No fireworks are to be lit on the property. Please check with the Galveston County Office of Emergency Management for any ongoing burn-bans.

The view from the large covered deck was beautiful. Spacious and comfortable den area. Kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning works great.Our stay was a 66th Birthday party. All the ladies were impressed with the decor, we stayed on the large scenic deck soaking up the rays.

We wanted to find a place close to the beach for the Labor Day weekend. The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and overlooking the dunes. Lots of fireflies in the evening, lots of nostalgia for me. Haven’t seen them in years. We look forward to staying here again!

This is our third time staying at this house. We love the quiet location and the house layout. The expansive deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors but being close enough to the kitchen for a quick drink refill.

Clean, comfortable, had board games to play; we could walk to beach in 2 min from front door; we will come back; I could see my kids go to and from beach from our balcony and talk to them the whole way. So close!

Private Paradise

A wonderful property right along the path to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the patio was spacious with adjustable lounge chairs. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. It was wonderful to have a relaxing place on the water like this. I plan on returning in the summer months .

Relaxing, beautiful view

We took a quick trip down to Crystal Beach just to relax and spend time with the kids. It is a perfect location; easy walk to the beach. The house is the very spacious and very clean. The huge deck is perfect for watching the sunrise. We hope to go back soon!

Perfect Location & A Great Home

Home is located on the quieter end of Crystal Beach, which makes it a perfect family get away location. Home is clean and updated and ha views to die for. We bought fresh shrimp from a local shop and had a wonderful shrimp boil with our family.

We found this wonderful getaway in 2006, after moving to Louisianna from Germany. We fell in love with the sleepy beach breeze and the calm pace of life of Crystal Beach. This has become our home away from home, especially as all of the daughters are growing up and leaving the nest.
