Welcome to Senor Whiskers, located in Crystal Beach! This beautifully furnished, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, dog-friendly home is just a 3-minute walk to the beach. Its open layout is perfect for entertaining. The living and kitchen areas have convenient access to the large covered deck. We recently added a cargo lift, fire pit, fenced backyard, and updated decor.

The kitchen features granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a 10-foot bar with seating for 7. The kitchen is fully stocked with a regular coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, blender, mixer, toaster, toaster oven, pots, baking pans, crockpots, griddle, utensils, dishes, roasting pan, and more. A laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer is just off the kitchen. A starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, and trash bags are provided.

Beach Getaway

Our stay was amazing. The property is very kid friendly, lots of activites for the kiddos. Perfect rental for a family and also pet friendly. Short walk to the beach and beach toy, chairs, etc. provided by the host. Would definitely stay again.

Fun stay in Crystal Beach

We enjoyed our stay in Crystal Beach! The house was cute, clean and well-appointed for our family. There were many toys and games that our 2 1/2 year old grandson loved. We were a short block away from the beach and could see the waves from the front deck. Crystal Beach (Bolivar Peninsula) is a quirky area - very different from our area in CA. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this property!

Relaxing Getaway Senor Whiskers

Had an excellent few days at Senor Whiskers will definitely go back another time. The house was beautiful and well equipped with everything you might need. It was great to have a new lift for baggage and ice chest and the fenced yard was a plus for my fur baby! I would recommend this beachhouse for your next visit to Crystal Beach.

Relaxing Family & Friend Vacay

We were all very pleased with our accommodations. The inside and outside were equally spacious. There were also several outdoor games to enertain us all. Some of us drove the few minutes to the beach while others chose to walk. Either way was easy and quick. We all enjoyed our stay and woukd recommend to others.

Celebrating turning 50!

Myself and three friends loved this super cute and super clean beach house to celebrate turning 50! It was perfect for cooking, entertaining, playing games, and visiting. The house is fully stocked and it’s a only a short walk to the beach. The wrap around porch with beach views, hammock, and giant Connect Four game were all welcomed! We definitely recommend this place and plan to rent again!

Beautiful Property with Lots of Amenities

The house is very clean and tidy with lots of extras. My little dachshund loved the big wraparound deck for suntanning and exploring. There was everything you could need in the kitchen and beach and regular toys and games for the kids. The cargo lift was so helpful for luggage and groceries. A very short walk to the beach and beach views from the deck. We had a wonderful visit and would book again.

OMG!!! WE HAD A MERMAZING TIME.....

This place was nothing but AMAZING! I went to celebrate my birthday weekend and we had a BALL!!!! I have no complaints about the house, the neighborhood , the neighbors whatsoever. House was just as pictured on VRBO. All the locals were so friendly and we also made NEW FRIENDS !!! Cant wait to go back. Thanks Laura!!!

Perfect House For a Family Getaway

We loved every minute of our time here at crystal beach. The house was super cute and decorated well and extremely comfortable for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the large covered deck, and not just the basic one side of shaded area that most cabins have. It had a nice area for our 3 year old son to play and for our family to chat and enjoy sunset and sunrise! Laura was so responsive and helpful and that was the icing on the cake for us. We will be back!

Great family vacation

Senor Whiskers was a great vacation home for our family. It was well stocked with everything we needed and then more for a comfortable stay. The beach access was close enough to walk but I did rent a golf cart to assist with all the beach stuff. The bunk room worked well for the grands . Our only downside was the cargo lift not working upon check in, but Laura was great to inform me of this and get it fixed before check out. My dog came along as well so it was a great time for all. Hope to stay here again.

Crystal beach getaway

My family and friend's family stayed for a few days here. The house is perfect! The kitchen is where we hung out most which was very nice. Everything we needed to cook with was there. When we weren't in the kitchen we hung out on the porch facing the ocean which was a great view. We also hung out under the house a lot to play cornhole which was a great time and with the added lights underneath helped us extend our game time into the night. Overall the space was great and the rooms were very nice. We definitely would like to stay here again.

Great house

Laura made our arrival, stay and departure a breeze. The house is beautiful, great location with easy access to the beach. Well stocked home. Great backyard fenced with a fire pit and chairs. We made s’mores and built a fire. It’s great for pets too! We had a BIG storm our last day and lost power at 1 pm. We made the best of it and took the ferry to Galveston for lunch and little shopping. Laura was willing to make other arrangements for us to stay somewhere else if we didn’t get power back. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable our last night. Thankfully the electric came back on around 8 pm. I highly recommend this house to anyone. Pet friendly was a big plus and the cargo lift was a life saver. I will say, if you’re looking to rent a golf cart DO NOT rent from West Canal Golf Cart rental. They were very rude and had to replace our cart 4 times in one day for mechanical issues. The fourth cart we had to zip tie the roof on so it didn’t clank the whole time you rode in it. We literally lost a whole day of cart use and they didn’t offer to refund anything. Overall we had a great time and again I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house & wonderful host!

This house was absolutely perfect for our weekend get away! It's in a great location. The house is beautiful and well acquainted. There was even two hair dryers and two curling irons! The beds were comfortable. All the basic amenities were included. It was a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. And it's dog friendly!!! I've found that when looking for rentals, there aren't a lot of nice, dog friendly homes. I did notice that there were some beach toys for kids. The cargo lift was AMAZING!!! Sure beats making 10 trips up in down the stairs carrying bags!! This one for sure checked every box on our list and I'd for sure stay here again!

Nice setup, cozy beach house!

We loved the property and the host was VERY responsive. The decorations and furnishings were very nice. If you have a fire stick of some kind you might want to bring it to ensure you can watch football or other sports you might not want to miss. There are plenty of other streaming options not related to sports. One of our guests had YouTube tv so that saved the day. Weather was so bad we weren’t able to take advantage of a lot of the nice features of the home. Very nice outside area!!! Also, the cargo lift saved the day!! Such a nice feature to help get coolers and luggage up the stairs. As with any rental the cooking pots and pans were well ‘loved’. I brought some of my own since I was making a $125 piece of tenderloin that I didn’t want to mess up. WE ❤️ CRYSTAL BEACH 🏝️ We would rent the property again!

Hi! I'm Laura, your main host here at Señor Whiskers Beach House. My husband Steven and I bought this house back in 2018 with my wonderful parents, Larry and Glenda. We love going to the beaches in Mexico, and that's where my dad got the nickname Señor Whiskers.

Why they chose this property

Don't be mislead by the name of our street, "Main Street." In fact, it's the least bustling Main Street I have ever encountered. It is a tranquil street with minimal traffic and a brief stroll to the beach. As a bonus, we are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors.

What makes this property unique

We have a 1,100-square-foot wrap-around deck with plenty of seating, a fire pit in our fenced-in backyard, a cargo lift that we let guests use, super-comfy beds, and we are dog-friendly. Check out our five-star reviews!
