Family Weekend

We stayed at this Lake House mid April and the weather was fantastic for siting outside on the couches by the pool. The pool table outside was a HIT. They added these solar pool floats meant to head the pool naturally and they WORK. The inside was amazing, kitchen came with everything we needed to make a few meals at the house instead of eating out all weekend. Beds were very comfortable. We will be looking to stay there again!

Spectacular Lake Home

We had such an enjoyable stay in Tampa. The house was stunning and the lake views were picturesque. Our children had a wonderful time playing in the pool. Enjoyable space for family

We had 5 adults and 2 kids around 2 years old and there was plenty of clean space and seating for all in the living room and kitchen. The owners were very responsive and helpful. There are many great restaurants a short drive away. We enjoyed watching the wildlife around the lake. It was easy to get to various attractions around Tampa.

Peaceful but Accessible

This is a beautifully appointed house, with obvious attention to every detail a traveler may desire. It is in a peaceful, very private location, but so easily accessible to shopping and restaurants. The owner responded quickly to the couple questions we had. We had a fabulous week! Our family of 5 was very comfortable with room to spare.

Great stay-Fantastic Home

Stayed for almost a week while in town for a wedding. House was in great condition just as listing showed. Great space for watching TV, playing some foozeball, and hanging around with friends by the pool. The lake is a great backdrop in a beautiful location. Fresh Renovation - Great Pool

We really had a great time at this property. Our kids were in the pool constantly. The interior had a great renovation, large kitchen, etc. There were two primary bedrooms one master with large bath and one minor with a private bath which worked great for our group. Lake sunrises were a nice plus. Thanks!

Great for family gatherings

We had a great time at our “noche buena” or Christmas Eve family gathering. The property owners, the Stoddard’s, were very accommodating. The description of the property and photos are very accurate. Very clean and picturesque setting. Most of all the lay out and openness of the house and grounds makes it a great place for larger family gathering. We had 21 adults for dinner and did so comfortably, and this despite the fact that we were not able to use the enclosed patio area as we had planned due to the “bomb cyclone” weather that happened over Christmas. Very close to all needed stores but located away from crowded neighborhoods, we will clearly keep it in mind in the future.

Incredible!

When you are traveling with family members who are over 80 years old, it can be difficult to find just the right place to rent. This house was even better than we imagined! Ross was very quick to respond to any questions that we had, and made the check-in and check-out process so easy. The location was very convenient to the airport as well as restaurants, shopping, etc. The house was so beautiful, especially the master bedroom which is HUGE! The dock was an incredible place to relax and enjoy the amazing view and beautiful location. We were in town for a family wedding, so we didn't even have enough time to enjoy all of the amenities that were available. The house was well-stocked with more than enough towels, dishes, closet space and cabinet space for storing food. We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on our last morning before we checked out to start traveling home. If we are ever back in Tampa, we would love to stay here again!

Best rental - hands down!

My family and I are newer to VRBO, this being our third rental, but have used other sites like Redweek for years. Westchase, and the owner Ross and family made this our best rental ever, hands down! The home is located at the end of a long private drive, next door to the owners home. Close enough for them to be super attentive should you need them, but far away enough that you won't notice. There are actually two units on the same property, the main one we stayed in and a small unit that was unoccupied while we were there. The smaller unit is not allowed access to the private pool of the main house. The house appears to have been renovated inside very recently and everything is new, shiny and clean! Four bedrooms, two of them with adjoining full bathrooms and the other two have use of the main third bath in the hall. Master bathroom is stunning with huge vaulted ceiling, dual sinks, soaking tub and separate shower. Sunken living room with large sectional has a huge TV with DirectTV stream service or you can use the other apps on the TV with your own subscriptions. Large TV in the master bedroom works the same. Foosball table made for a fun time for us! Immaculate new kitchen with gorgeous quartz countertops and a massive island is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and all sorts of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc., etc.. Outside in back is a huge lanai covering and surrounding the pool and patio. Large covered area outside houses an outdoor sectional and chairs. There is even a pool table outside to play! The heated pool is older but was crystal clear and nice and warm during our stay in April. On the lake, there is also a new partially covered dock with chairs to relax or look for the fishing poles and tackle box in the garage and catch yourself a largemouth bass like I did! Just be sure to be kind and release any you catch. Two kayaks are available for the more adventurous. A five minute drive to places to eat and shop and fifteen to the airport make this a prime location. Even as close to everything that you are, it is super secluded and quiet. I also cannot express how attentive the owners are in dealing with any questions or issues you might have. Texts were answered within minutes and anything we needed was taken care of quickly. Ross and his family have really done a wonderful job with the property and manage it with care and attention. You won't be disappointed!!
