Check out Tampa Bay.... bring your own boat as the canal has direct access. Bring your boat or rent one. Dock can accommodate up to 3 boats. Explore the area on one of the 2 kayaks provided for your stay. Convenient location with all the amenities for the best vacation! The home has just been remodeled with your vacation in mind.

Could be Nice...

It's a nice home that just needs a whole lot of TLC. The layout of the home is good with the master bedroom en-suite on one side & the other 2 bedrooms and shared bathroom on the other. The pool was very warm (we had incredible weather for February) but the small deck and decent size dock need attention. Lots of catfish off the dock, but nothing else bit my line.

Christmas trip

Property was clean and well stocked. Putting up a Christmas tree was very appreciated! Location was as expected. Advertised as heated pool. I called 1 week ahead to make sure pool would be heated as promised and was told the heater was broken but would be fixed in about 7 days. The heater was never fixed for our stay so we were very disappointed at not be able to use the pool. No adjustment to the price of the rental was offered as of today.

Overall Stay

Great property, great location, very good responses. Of the 2- bathrooms only one was operable for the last day- sewage back up ( 8- people in house so you can imagine) and the only other disappointment was the lack of cookware and glass ware. Chipped glassware / bowls were present. Just very lacking in the kitchen. Would suggest in having more drink ware that is also safe for around the pool/ outside area. Several towels in bathroom also had staining and/ or looked used ( old makeup on white towels).

We were all excited to visit the Tampa area. The home was a bit out of our way for what we were looking to do, but since it rained most of the time, we didn't get to do much and thankfully, the home was very comfortable. Many restaurants and groceries are in the area. The home is exactly as you see. The beds are very comfortable and each room has a TV with all the channels you need. The pool is large and beautiful right on the waterway. There are 2 kayaks but we never had the chance to use them, because of the rain. Check in was easy, everything you need is there, even if you forget your tooth brush, they have some packaged with tooth paste there. A very nice touch, is the smores package, graham crackers, marshmellows and hershey bars, along with the skewers to do over the fire pit. Also in the package were pringles and cheese crackers. A really nice and welcoming thought after driving. Thank you all for a very lovely stay.

Very nice place, could be even better with maintenance

Multi generational family trip, 5 adults and 2 kids. Well laid out home with room for the whole family. Finishes are nice, beachyt, modern. Outdoor space is beautiful, we spent most of our time outside. Heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, water views - its all here. We saw manatees and dolphins from the dock!!! Location is good, close to lots of grocery stores and restaurants. It was Florida winter when we arrived so pool was not warm. Property manager took care of it quickly, but it took 1.5 days for the pool to reach full temperature. Once we got it working it was fabulous! Hot tub also needed maintenance - we emptied out several filters in the pool and hot tub. Not a huge amount of work but still. I do think the place could use some maintenance, this could be a spectacular place if basic painting, touch ups, etc were taken care of. Also dining room table only holds 6 and there weren't extra chairs for our whole group. Consider adding a few extra chairs for larger groups. Also non-breakable cups, everything in the house was glass - not great for the pool area. All in all we would stay here again!!!

Thanks for an amazing vacation in this 5 star property!!! Tom the host was very helpful and everything we needed was provided. Relaxing Stay, Nice Location!

We had a relaxing stay - the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, right on one of the canals. Backyard is very pretty with the pool, decking, dock, Adirondack chairs, and fire pit. Note that the neighbor has signs up that excessive note can trigger an alarm and the police, and even has a camera that appears to be pointed away from the house. A little unsettling, but as long as you are respectful, we had no issues. The house was clean and just as expected. We loved the ping pong table. Note that the dishwasher didn't work for us - the host was very quick to communicate with us and get a repair person out.

Great place, location and loved the pool and hot tub. Play room fun too! TV provided youtube access for NFL games which was a bonus! Shame the fire pit didn't work but everything else perfect.

Weekend Girls Trip

Communication was great and the property was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with friends. The host left out a s’mores kit that we enjoyed our last night. The host left a detailed binder that answered almost any question we could have about the house. The house is also walking distance to a grocery store if you are not renting a car while you stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to have a get together
