Das Ferienhaus Residenz hat unsere Erwartungen vollkommen erfüllt. Für ein großes Familientreffen oder - wie in unserem Fall - eine gemeinsame Woche alter Schulfreunde und Weggefährten bietet es einen sehr gut geeigneten Rahmen.Die Einrichtung ist gepflegt, zweckmäßig und sauber. Sowohl die vielen einzelnen Zimmer mit funktional gehaltenen Bädern als auch die Gemeinschaftsräume erlauben eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit. In der Umgebung findet sich für eine Woche eine ausreichende Infrastruktur von Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Gastronomie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein sehr schönes Familietreffen.Wir konnten draußen Sitzen und Grillen.Allerdings musste man die Getränke und das Essen umständlich zum Grillplatz bringen.Sonst konnten wir schön gemeinsam in der großen Küche essen. Und jeder hatte sein eigenes Zimmer. Top.

Schöne und geräumige Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage dicht am Rennsteig, gute Ausgangsposition für kürzere oder längere Wanderungen, für das Treffen unserer 10-köpfigen Sippe (4 Familien) genau das richtige. Der große Esstisch in der gut eingerichteten Küche war der zentrale Ort für unsere geselligen Stunden und der Außenbereich bot die Möglichkeit für diverse Bewegungsspiele.

Lage ist super. Leider etwas lieblos und vor allem ungemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche und das Wohnzimmer (ohne Sofa, nur mit Tisch) befindet sich im Keller (mit Fenster). Abends zusammen sitzen nach einem anstrengenden Tag macht da wenig Spaß. Die Zimmer sind gehobener Jugendherbergsstil und die Bäder etwas älter - aber sauber.

Gästekarte

Wir mussten im Voraus für die Gästekarte beezahlen und sollten diese selbst bei der Gemeinde abholen. Das ist nicht üblich und ausserdem hatte die Gemeindeverwaltung an den ersten beiden Tagen geschlossen, so dass wir die Gästekarte nicht nutzen konnten und wir somit für etwas bezahlt haben ohne eine Leistung dafür zu bekommen.

Toll ist, dass jedes Zimmer sein eigenes Bad hat. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden, ein paar Messer mehr wären gut. Schlüsselübergabe hat gut geklappt und war flexibel. Gute Lage am Rennsteig. Mehr Parkplätze wären gut.
