Slice of Heaven

We are from Utah and came to Idaho for a family event. This property is just what we needed to double as a home base between family events and some much needed relaxation to recharge. The scenery was breathtaking, especially during our guided horse ride to the top of a ridge that overlooks two different valleys. Our guide, Joelle, was amazing coaching us along the different parts of the trail so we knew what to expect and how to understand what the horses would be doing. My wife knows and has ridden horses before, but this was my first time on a horse and I felt very comfortable from the start due to the staff and the horse they paired me with. I do recommend trying this excursion and would definitely do it again. Doug was our host when we arrived and he felt like an old friend from the get go. He checked on us a few times throughout the weekend to make sure we had everything we need and is a pleasure to chat with. Everything about the cabin was perfect, from the decor, the hotel quality master bathroom, and wildlife spotting scope, to the comfortable scents of the oil diffusers and hand soap. The downstairs game room was roomy and a great place to unplug with family. Thank you to Doug and his family, Joelle, and all the staff for making our weekend so enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing.
