Everything was great. We were a large group and the additional outbuildings with activities were especially nice for all ages! Great property for any time of year!
Well suited for my hfamily including children. The available racketball court, pool table, basketball, table tennis were all a plus and kept my 5 grandchildren happy and busy. The large deck was perfect for morning coffee and dining. The view was wonderful. We saw deer running and playing in the late afternoon. It was close to shopping, restaurants and National sites visited, Walnut Canyon and Sunset crater among others. The double washer and dryer was a bonus for my large group.
We were all very impressed by the rooms, accomodations, and ease of the check in/out process. My whole family made memories that will last a lifetime. The rec room and the landscape were the selling point for us. We spent countless hours enjoying games and the outdoors.
We chose this location because it looked like it could accomodate our large family of 18, which it did with no problem. Spent the 1st day taking advantage of the amenities on the property. Pickleball was a big hit as well as the pool and ping pong tables. Nice drives to Sedona and Grand Canyon from here. John was very accomodating to any questions.
This property is WONDERFUL! Our group of adults looking to explore the area all had the comfort, space, and amenities needed to feel right at home during our stay. The views are fantastic, the beds and linens are comfortable, there are trails literally right out the back door, and the giant pickleball court was so much fun! Would 100% stay again!
The property has beautiful views outside, all the amenities you could ask for inside, and is in close proximity to all you could ask for in regards to outdoor adventures.
This is one of the best properties we have stayed at! Everything about it was great - the house was very clean when we arrived, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for everyone, lots of activities for kids and adults, and great location. Everyone enjoyed this cabin and the wonderful views. The check in and check out process was very simple and John (host) was very accommodating. We spent a lot of time playing games inside, hanging out on the deck and hiking the beautiful trails just outside the cabin. The kids had a blast playing pool, pickleball and basketball.I would definitely recommend this cabin to other large groups. It was perfect!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The house was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, we particularly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
I would highly recommend this house. Its beautiful and in a really nice lication. Tons of stuff to do. We had elk outside the back porch every night. The owner was wonderful to work with. My family and me really enjoyed our time here.
Awesome!!! the property management was above and beyond John went out is way to make sure our family had amazing time in the property , all the amenities on the property were amazing way better than 5 star rating AWESOME!!!!
We had 4 families staying here, including two families with little kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. There is so much to do on the property, we all had a lot of fun! The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived as well. Over all great place to stay!!
The ranch is spacious and well supplied with anything u need. Elk or moose came close to the deck one evening! Smart TV wifi was intermittent and having enough hot water for everyone's showers were issues but did not ruin the visit.

We're the McNarys. We are a family of three, Heidi, Jack, and John, with one furry family member named Teddy. I, John, am a Native Arizonan and loved visiting Flagstaff as a kid. I ended up attending NAU (Class of 91') and fell in love even more with the area. We purchased our first summer home back in 2017 and decided to list it on VRBO. We now have two VRBOs in Flagstaff and love sharing our homes with our guests. We strive to make everyone's stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of it's layout and location. Doney Park (East Flagstaff) has a semi-rural feel yet it is close to all that Flagstaff has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Backs the National Forest, large lot 2.5 acres, Views, the additional buildings including the detached garage turned billiards/dart room and the huge Rec Hal (60' x 40') with Pickle Ball Court, Basketball Hoop, Ping Pong Table, Corn Hole set, Disco Ball with lights.......
