Sit back and relax on the expansive deck with nothing but Forest and Meadows. The home has two additional buildings including a converted garage turned billiards room complete with darts and a 2,400 sq ft Recreation Hall complete with full-size PICKLE BALL COURT, Basketball Hoop, Cornhole, & Ping Pong table. And for the even more fun the Rec Hall has a disco ball with lighting so put on your favorite songs and have a blast! Your kids, big and small won’t want to leave.

Fantastic cabin!! Clean, beautiful, open wilderness behind for hiking and playing. Recreation building was fantastic, a lot of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Would rent this again!!

Our family loved our stay at Sunset Ranch! The house is lovely and clean, with an open living space and beautiful views. The kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the pantry space for the food we brought. The bedrooms are comfortable, and we loved using the sauna!The outdoor spaces were amazing--the huge deck with firepit, bbq and screen room with heater were all enjoyed. We took advantage of the hiking trail behind the property as well.The two out buildings were added fun! Pool, darts, pickleball and ping pong kept us busy. We were hoping for snow, but these amenities made up for the lack of snow to play in. If there had been snow, I imagine the hills behind would have been great for sledding. We can't say enough about our wonderful host, John. He was very welcoming and responded lightning fast to any inquiries we had. He is by far the best host we've had over many years of vacation rentals. Thank you, John! Can't wait til next time!!

We had a great time in flagstaff. The house was awesome, all the kids enjoyed the amenities while the adults enjoyed spending as much time as possible on the incredible deck. We had an issue with the hot water going out, but the owner was very responsive and sent someone out to fix it the same day. We hope to go back soon!

Visit for NAU graduation

We rented the house for family to all stay together for graduation from NAU! The house is amazing, on the quieter side of town and the back porch was our favorite spot! It had so much comfortable furniture, with an amazing view. We all enjoyed our stay!

Making Memories

We were all very impressed by the rooms, accomodations, and ease of the check in/out process. My whole family made memories that will last a lifetime. The rec room and the landscape were the selling point for us. We spent countless hours enjoying games and the outdoors.

We're the McNarys. We are a family of three, Heidi, Jack, and John, with one furry family member named Teddy. I, John, am a Native Arizonan and loved visiting Flagstaff as a kid. I ended up attending NAU (Class of 91') and fell in love even more with the area. We purchased our first summer home back in 2017 and decided to list it on VRBO. We now have two VRBOs in Flagstaff and love sharing our homes with our guests. We strive to make everyone's stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of it's layout and location. Doney Park (East Flagstaff) has a semi-rural feel yet it is close to all that Flagstaff has to offer.
