Villa Angelloti is a newly build privet accommodation situated in Chalikounas area among villas and olive groves . Just a few minutes walking distance from the beach , in a peaceful area well known among the locals for a weekend getaways.
The villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In the master bedroom we have a double bed and en-suited bathroom with bathtub . Two bedrooms with twin beds and a shared bathroom with shower . A beautiful decorated living room linked to a fully equipped kitchen with dinning area .
In the large privet garden you will find a swimming pool , BBQ facilities , outdoor dinning area and sun lounges .

Little Paradise

As a family of 6 adults, we just spent a wonderful week at Villa Ágios Matthaíos. The house is beautiful and the garden and pool area are absolutely stunning, the pool is large and clean. Everything is very well kept up with many lovely little details.There is a lot of room and plenty of shade so everyone can always find the perfect spot. The location of the house could not be better, it is a mere 5 minute walk to one of the nicest little beaches on Corfu, which has a tavern with a fantastic view of the ocean and the nightly sunsets. The area is quiet and away from the main tourist centers and hotels, which was exactly what we wanted. Katerina and Ioannis were very helpful before and throughout our stay, and we are especially grateful that they encouraged us to come despite the fires that were active in the north of the island at the time and our concerns. It would have been a shame to miss the chance to stay at this little paradise. We will surely come back, hopefully sometime soon.

Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten

Das Haus selbst: sehr schön eingerichtet, das Grundstück/Garten sehr gepflegt mit allen möglichen Sitzplätzen, großer, sehr sauberer Pool. Die Lage: wunderschön, versteckt hinter vielen Olivenbäumen, sehr ruhig. Das Objekt verfügt aber nicht über eine "richtige" Adresse, Damit hatte ich schon bei der Buchung so meine Schwie- rigkeiten: Mal hieß das Haus "Villa Angelika", mal "Villa Angeloti" - es gibt inzwischen genug Beispiele von Betrug bei der Vermietung von Ferienhäusern, deshalb darf auch kein Vermieter böse sein, wenn man genauer nachfragt, vor allem bei dem Preis nicht. Wir haben es dann doch noch hingekriegt, nachdem dieser Wechsel näher erläutert worden war. Da wir beide keine "google"-Fans sind, konnten wir die Lage auch nicht nach den Koordinaten feststellen und ha- ben deshalb auch das Haus nach unserer Ankunft und Übernahme des Mietwagens zunächst nicht finden können. Wir haben dann telefoniert, der Vermieter hat uns dann gelotst - um sieben Ecken rum und auf immer schmaler werdenden Sträßchen, allein hätten wir das Haus nie gefunden, zumal die vorletzte Wegstrecke nur wenig breiter als unser Auto war, links begrenzt mit einer Mauer und rechts begrenzt durch eine Stacheldrahtzaun (?!). Die Ausstattung war gut, es fehlten nur Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. ein Besen für innen und ein Handfeger mit Kehrblech. Was sehr schön war: Zum Anfangen gab es das Notwendige (Toast, ungesalzene Butter, Wasser, Käse/Schinken, Milch, Essig/öl, verschiedene Teesorten, Kekse Rotwein etc.. Die Maschine für normalen Filterkaffee war vorhanden, aber nicht zu gebrauchen, wir haben sie am 2. Tag durch eine neue ersetzt, um uns nicht jeden Morgen zu ärgern . Glücklicherweise war das Haus klimatisiert, die ersten drei Tage waren noch "bullenheiss". Allerdings haben wir die Klimaanlage im seitlichen Schlafzimmer nicht ans Laufen bekommen - warum auch immer. In dem kleineren Badezimmer gab es Schwierigkeiten mit dem Ablauf des Waschbeckens: Der Stopfen hatte keine Verstellmöglichkeit (auf/zu), sondern ist mehrfach nach unten gerutscht und damit war das Waschbecken zu! Wir haben dann den Stopfen rausnehmen müssen. Der "Poolboy" war für samstags und dienstags angekündigt, kam aber mittwochs - um ca. 7.00 Uhr morgens und hat uns aufgeweckt . Sind aber alles wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Wir werden sicher noch einmal wieder kommen und dann genau dieses Haus versuchen erneut zu buchen.

-Tolles Haus für unsere 6 köpfige Familie mit Hund -Top Auststattung -besondere Highlights: super gepflegter Pool in schöner Gartenanlage, alles von weißer Mauer umgeben und geschmackvoll gestaltet, Himmelbett und Holzliegen draußen, Außengrill, Whirlpoolbadewanne -idyllisch gelegen inmitten von Olivenwäldern, 10 min Fußmarsch zum Strand -im Umkreis von 30 -45 min tolle Buchten, Dörfer, Klöster, Wanderwege, Mietwagen erforderlich Wir haben die Zeit in der Villa Angelotti sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Im April war die Insel leer. Wettermäßig war alles dabei, auch einige tolle Strand- und Pooltage. Efcharistó für alles :-)

Surrounded by Villas , guest houses and taverns the area is well known to the locals as a peaceful place to spend your Sundays
Hiking is also very popular in the area with beautiful paths and places of interest to visit
Cape Gardiki one of the oldest castles in Corfu is 2,5 km from the establishment and Chalikounas beach (the longest and most beautiful sandy beach ) is only 2klm away along with lake KorIssion on the other side of the beach , a protected area with rare species of fish and birds . The spider net forest on the other side of the lake is one of the best places to walk .Moraitica village just 5,5 km away is full of life with all kinds of markets and night life entertainment .
