About this property
All The Feels - Outdoor living paradise!
City ID #004737
Builder and developer Jack Meiselman’s influence on the growth of mid-20th century Palm Springs is undeniable. This home, built in 1959, was part of Meiselman’s largest development that he called Chino Palms Estates. Today it is part of the Racquet Club Estates neighborhood. The home was included in Palm Springs’ first ever survey of significant architectural properties and with its intact original footprint, designed for vacation living, it is still what Meiselman envisioned and built, but totally updated for today.
Standing inside the entry courtyard is where you will first experience All The Feels realizing and experiencing all at once why Palm Springs indoor/outdoor lifestyle is so incredibly special. Everywhere you look is an area to live and play - because outdoor living is what it is all about here. A large 18’ x 28’ saltwater pool with raised spa and waterfall edge; a fire pit seating area; chaise lounge zone; a shower station; full outdoor kitchen with bar seating; a dining area for 8 and a relaxing shaded outdoor living room.
And all of that surrounded by the reason people have come here for generations – a beautiful desert landscape, palm trees swaying overhead and the magnificent and calming effect of the San Jacinto Mountain range. Walled and totally private you will not want to leave.
Looking thru the wall of glass into the living room, (because at some point, you’ll have to go inside!) you’ll find pebblestone and cork floors, the original tongue-and-groove ceiling and more than enough space to relax. Tastefully designed in classic midcentury style there’s comfortable seating and a 50” smart TV. The dining area has seating for 6 and is just steps away the kitchen. While compact, it is fully furnished to prepare any meal, or complement what’s cooking in the outdoor kitchen.
The primary bedroom with its clerestory windows and slider to the side garden includes a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo. On the opposite side of the living room is a hallway to the two guest bedrooms. Each is comfortably furnished with queen-sized beds and a 42” smart TV. These bedrooms share a bathroom that includes a glass-enclosed shower and door to a private patio and a white rose desert garden.
All The Feels is also about location. This dog-friendly home is within walking distance of 3 parks (Ruth Hardy, Victoria, The Wellness) and under a mile to grocery stores and the restaurants and shops in the Uptown Design District.
Use of the home also includes the 2-car garage which has a 240V outlet for your EV charger.
