Cozy beach apartment steps from the ocean, Kinney Shores, ME. Newly renovated!

Kinney Shores, Saco, Maine

Welcome to the newly renovated High Tide! The well equipped kitchen also contains a coffee pot, toaster, and microwave. The back deck features a patio table, chairs, umbrella and large yard with a gas BBQ grill. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower available. The living room features a SMART TV with Chromecast, Cable TV with NESN and seating for 6-8. This unit has a washer/dryer and hairdryer in the bathroom. There is one queen bed and one bedroom with a bunk that sleeps three (twin on top with a full mattress below). The cottage is located only one block of 7 miles of sandy beach, stretching from Camp Ellis to Scarborough and is also adjacent to the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Adorable Ocean Park is only a short bike ride or walk away where you can enjoy cinnamon buns, pizza and ice cream. In addition to great birding, other outdoor activities include whale watching, exploring the Trails of Saco, local and island golf, biking along The Eastern Trail and shopping. Head to downtown Old Orchard Beach for family entertainment at Palace Playland. Portland is only a 20 minute drive away and the restaurant scene is amazing!

The driveway to the left of the white Cape parks 3 cars. Sleeps 5-6. Air-conditioning and fans available. Washer-dryer, dishwasher, wi-fi, SMART TV, Red Sox baseball on NESN, outdoor shower. Renovated 2022.

No pets, no smoking/vaping indoors or on the property.

Note: You must bring your own bed linens and beach towels, or you can rent through Bayside Linens at www.baysidelinens.com. This property shares a lot with The Low Tide (the white cottage at the front of the property). Inquire about renting both the High and Low Tide if you need more sleeping space!

Another great week at the beach

We had another great stay this summer at the high tide. It it tidy and welcoming. The house had all the amenities of home while being a very short 2-3 min walk to the beach. This year there were some nice upgrades like the out door shower and paved driveway. Thank you!

Wonderful vacation - 2 minute walk to the beach

We had a wonderful time at High Tide! The house has nicely updated with so many modern perks like all new mini splits, dishwasher and ice maker and smart TV. The house was very clean and welcoming. The house is a 2 minute walk directly to the beach. It's a 1 minute drive to ocean park and a 4 minute drive to old orchard parking. The hosts Suzanne and Brian were very responsive to messages and accommodating to our request. We hope to go back again!

Newly renovated well appointed house right near beach

First, a huge “thank you” to the owners for graciously sharing their beautiful home with us. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we hoped. It was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked. The attention to detail is evident in every single aspect of this house, down to the rounded edges of the furniture if you have little ones running around. The owners left no stone unturned in preparing a cozy home-away-from home experience for their renters. We are marveled at the scrupulous cohesion of everything, from the deck to the outdoor shower (which had shampoo, conditioner and body wash nicely placed inside), to the fully equipped grill outside. The owner was also very open and responsive to any questions we may have had. The close proximity and short walk to the beach was the cherry on top of this perfect vacation.
