Residence: Camping des 2 Séquoias, our little corner of paradise in the heart of the beautiful Larzac plateau, welcomes you from 1st June 2025. The days are warm and sunny while the cool nights (500m above sea level) allow a long-awaited restful sleep during the holiday periods. We are close to the village of Nant (5 minutes walk) and all its amenities.

Nant is an enchanting medieval village located south of Aveyron, just a 10-minute walk from our campsite. Dominated by its 16th century abbey, the village offers a fascinating historical setting. As you stroll through its cobbled streets, you will discover local shops. (Superette, bars, butcher shop, bakery, restaurants, post office, tourist office, medical office...) and a weekly market where local products will delight your taste buds.

The centre of the village is a real jewel, with its lively halls where you can enjoy a drink or a meal on the terrace. Art galleries, scattered throughout the village, reflect the creativity of local artists and add a cultural touch to your visit.

Music concerts and fun activities are also held during the summer.A remarkable curiosity of Nant is its clever system of many canals, built by the monks in the 12th century, which irrigates the village and feeds magnificent flower gardens. This water system, still in operation, bears witness to the ingenuity of the builders of old.

Nant is at the crossroads of Aveyron, Lozère, Gard and Hérault. The campsite of the two Séquoias thus offers varied and hilly landscapes (the Causses , the Cevennes and the dizzying cliffs of the Dourbie and the Jonte). In addition, the commune of Nant houses more than ten churches, including some novels, each with its unique charm, offering a dive into the religious history of the region. In short, Nant is a place where history, culture and nature meet, promising an unforgettable experience to all those who venture into it.
