Location was perfect. The sunsets were unbeatable. Conveniently within walking distance to many restaurants. Bldg Mngr was responsive and very helpful. Unit was nicely appointed and very clean.

Beautiful apartment on the coast
Our family stayed here (me, my wife and six month old son) for a month from mid Dec to mid Jan. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. The neighbours are all very friendly and the on site property management is helpful. Some previous reviews mention a tight parking spot, but we had a jeep compass (mid size SUV) and didn't have any issues with parking. The location is right beside the tide pools so we got to see beautiful sunsets, big waves and watch surfers all the time. Overall this place is wonderful and San Diego is a great place to vacation with a family so we would love to stay here again.

Brilliant Beach Location
Th property is on a stunning crescent of sand called the Windandsea Beach and it's as beautiful as anything I've seen in the Riviera. The unit itself was perfectly accommodating. I'd stay there every chance I had. The management however, is practically the exact opposite. For example, when you first arrive, there's no where to park until you can get into the unit, and once you do get in the unit and find the garage door clicker and get into the garage, the designated parking spot isn't marked. I was scolded by residents twice before one of them finally pointed me to the right space. The parking space for 2D is actually marked "12." But the crowning disappointment was the fact that the second set of keys, the set left inside the unit, didn't open the unit door. My son took the original set of keys, the ones left in the drop box, with him back to LA. When I returned to the unit on June 19th, at about 10:30 PM, I learned for the first time that the keys that had been left for us, would not open the unit door. I began calling every number I had for Vacasa. No answer. I left messages. I finally got through to a woman located in Seattle who said she would have someone call me. The inner hallway where I was waiting didn't have adequate service. I sat there for several hours with NO help from Vacasa. Finally, my son had to drive back to San Diego from Los Angeles to let me in! I was livid. 5 days later I got a form email asking me how I was enjoying my stay.

Our new home on the coast
This is the nicest vacation stay we've experienced in our two years as nomadic WFHers. We've already booked to return later this year. Reality is even lovelier than the photos and living here has been a treat. The building management and VACASA local management are both outstanding, always responsive, respectful, and kind. The back deck, accessed by internal building stairway provides a rare and private place for sunsets, lunch or happy hours, and watching wildlife. This is a 5+ Star location on the best part of La Jolla coastline. The Perch!

Great location but work on the garage was disturbing.
Location was perfect right on the beach. Property was good except for all the work they were doing on the garage. Couldn't park in the garage and noisy. Stove needs some work but the beach there is beautiful.
