STUNNING VIEWS from this updated, corner condo in the recently renovated Wood Creek Lodge. Walk to the slopes and then enjoy sunset views over Mt. Crested Butte, Whetstone, and Axtell on your private, wrap-around balcony! This quiet corner unit sleeps six, with two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa all boasting mountain views, and two full baths. The master bedroom features a queen bed and private bathroom while the second bedroom has two twin beds.The modern, open-concept living area with fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal with family and friends, or work remotely with free high-speed WiFi. Beautiful views of the mountains to help you unwind after your outside adventures.

The Wood Creek Lodge is located a short walk from the base area and across the street from the West Wall Super Quad and Peach Tree lifts. Enjoy the building’s hot tub with views of Mt. Crested Butte after a day skiing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, riding world-class mountain biking trails, or hiking in the wildflower capital of Colorado. Take the Mountain Express shuttle across the street to explore the quaint, historic town of Crested Butte, with art galleries, shops, and restaurants. The building also has dedicated parking, an outdoor gas grill, and laundry room on the same level as the residence. The fireplace in the unit is currently not up to code and unavailable for guest use.

Parking: You get two parking passes.

*First Tracks is a free shuttle service that will transport you to and from the base area during the winter and summer months. All of the information you need is located in the property binder once you arrive.

Great stay!

A great spot for our group of adults. Easy walk to the village and main transportation hub. Steps away from a couple of the lift lines. Overall perfect stay for what we wanted and needed. Property management’s communication was excellent with various touch point leading up to our stay. We did not need anything once we arrived because everything was in working order. Would highly recommend.

Great condo

Clean condo a short walk away from ski lifts. Had minor maintenance issue during stay and it was addressed right away. Complex has carts in lobby for luggage and is in a great location a very short drive from town. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice location!

Property is very nice and is in a very walkable location to a lift. It was convenient enough that we came back for lunch. The condo was clean and had most of the kitchen amenities you would expect. The dining area was cozy and the living room was comfortable.

Great spot on the mountain

What a great stay. Everything we needed this unit had. Great view of the mountain, great locations close to everything. Quiet and peaceful. We did notice the elevator made a lot of noise when starting to move, might be something to look into, it was weird, but it worked fine. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great spot in Crested Butte.

Great time!

Great property and central location in town for a ski trip! Short hike to ski mountain, and bus shuttles to town. Sauna at property does not work, and was told it has not worked for 3 years!

Extremely Family Friendly

This was the perfect place for our family of four. The kitchen had all the essentials and the two bedroom set up was great. The balcony was huge and had amazing views. We were able to walk (about 5 minutes) to West Wall and Peachtree lifts! The place was incredibly clean. While the bathrooms are both original and not updated, they were very clean. Our only suggestion might be to replace the shower curtains.

Amazing place!

Amazing place! Great view, very clean, and comfortable. We would for sure come back and recommend it to family and friends. Easy check in, the laundry room was on the same floor just right down the hall, hot tub was perfect. Our only recommendation would be to double check that the sheets for the pullout couch are in the unit. We got in late and didn’t have sheets the first night so one of us had to sleep on bath towels on the pullout couch. But they did answer the phone late Friday night and were prompt to bring sheets the next day.

Lovely family getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Crested Butte. The location of this unit provided stunning views and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. The bathrooms were quite outdated and we found a little untidiness (garbage left under a bed, some lint in the shower), but nothing too off putting. Having young kids with us, it was a nice and unexpected perk to have some children's toys and books in one of the rooms. The kitchen and living spaces were clean and open with lots of wonderful natural light. Accessible by elevator, easy few minute drive into downtown. Booking, checking in, and communicating with the management when we needed to adjust our dates was very smooth. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great location and nice proximity to Mt Crested Butte but disappointed overall

The condo was cute and was in a prime location but we were disappointed with many things. There were no washcloths at all (we bought our own while we were there), there were no pillowcases for the sofa-bed. The trim was dusty everywhere. The dishwasher did not work initially and then we realized someone had disconnected the water supply. Upon notifying the property contact person, we were told they were unaware of the water being disconnected. This made us wonder how clean the dishes were that had gotten put away by housekeeping (??…). Overall there was an unpleasant/ stale odor- like it needed a good freshening up. It would be nice to have a screen in the master bedroom window for air flow. The couch was comfortable but that was the only comfortable piece of furniture in the living room. There was one other wicker/ occasional chair in there that wasn’t very comfortable. And although the view was fabulous from the balcony, it would be nice to have more comfortable furniture there as well. There are only 2 small chairs on the large 2-sided balcony. Overall, the space was too cramped for 5 of us - it would have been much better suited to a family/ party of 4. It took the property contact about 24 hrs to respond to our requests (the dishwasher issue, linens etc) each time. I do note that we were offered compensation for our purchase of washcloths on our 2nd to last day there.

Hi Shannon, Thank you for your review of our property. We are disappointed to see a two-star review but can understand some of your frustrations. That being said, we ordered new wash clothes so there is no shortage for future guests. We also double-checked the property, and there are pillowcases for the sofa bed, they are with the backup sheets. We don't have someone working 24/7 to check messages, but we do provide guests with an after-hours maintenance number that you can always call in case of an emergency. We have informed our cleaner to make sure all baseboards are properly dusted. We have also let the owner of this unit know about screens for windows and providing some additional outdoor furniture so you can enjoy that fabulous view of Mt. Crested Butte! We do appreciate reviews like this as this helps us improve the unit for future guests. Regardless, we hope you had a wonderful time. Thank you, Peak Property Management

Great Week in CB

This property was perfect for my family during our recent ski trip to Crested Butte. It was close enough to the bottom of the mountain to walk if we wanted, but not so close that we were bothered by anyone. It was well-appointed, spotless, and parking was a breeze! We'll always stay here if it's available in the future.

Needs some fixes

Great location. Easy booking process. However needs some fixes. Kitchen sink handle was broken and kept falling off. Microwave wouldn't heat anything. No comforter for pull out sofa, and only one extra pillow. So if you are planning on using it bring some extra blankets and pillows. Fireplace was broken, which we probably wouldn't have used but I know some people like them. No shampoo or conditioner, luckily we had brought our own. Overall I would say the value was not worth the price. But the location made up for some of the short comings. Very easy walk to West Wall lift. Would probably not stay here again.

We do provide an on call phone number along with our office number to call if issues arise during your stay. If we had known about these items during your stay we would have been able to get them taken care of for you during your stay. After your departure and we had learned of these things we quickly took care of the kitchen faucet and also saw the extra bedding in the closet. We also do not advertise the fireplace in the property or shampoos and conditioners being in the property. The owners are hoping the HOA can get the fireplace fixed sometime soon.
