We had a wonderful time here. Guys had caught a few fish between the off and on rain showers. I loved the theme of the house and so comfy! We will definitely stay again!

This was a great place to stay. It had plenty of room for my boat and pickup outside. Also very roomy inside the cabin. A block away from the lake. Close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Barleans was great! The house was bright, clean, & well maintained. The bed was comfortable & the kitchen has all the necessities. We went to ride our bikes in the Lakes area, so it was awesome to find that the trail runs right behind the house. We had a great stay & will look into booking here again.

Cute little cottage and beach theme was a nice vibe. The step from the living room to the kitchen/dining/bedroom was extreme for those of us who are vertically challenged. A small 8” step stool would be a nice addition. Same could be used fur back deck. I couldn’t use patio furniture. Cottage is well appointed and everything I needed to cook a meal was provided. We enjoyed watching the bunnies munching away in the backyard grass especially!!

Overall this was an excellent stay! Very clean and cozy, comfortable living space with plenty of amenities that made it feel like home. The property was beautiful to walk our dog around, located very close to a walking and biking trail and just a 10 min drive to Arnold’s Park. Very convenient! My two minor complaints are 1) that the bathroom is actually in the bedroom, not out in the main living area, so our guests had to come through the bedroom in the middle of the night to use the toilet. It was a bit disruptive. Adding that detail to the listing would be helpful, as you can’t quite tell from the pictures. The doors to the bathroom are slatted bifold doors, not a solid wood door, so noises in the bathroom are easily heard. 2) The bed sheets were quite scratchy, very thin, and made a lot of noise when you move around. Easily remedied though by bringing your own sheets. Overall excellent stay, we greatly appreciated that it’s pet friendly! We will absolutely stay here again, just likely with our own sheets and just us as a couple without additional guests.
