Very nice house. Picture reflect property perfectly. Kitchen is small but really really cute and had no problem cooking. If visiting now thru end of Fall, acorns everywhere. Loved the firepit and the Chimnea as well!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect comfortable space for our family to just spend time together. The state park right next door was great for outside time, and it was close enough to even venture towards St. Louis for a day.
Stayed at the cabin while visiting relatives. Very comfortable and spacious -plenty of room for everyone. Love the wrap around deck and the outdoor space. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.
A beautiful house and great host that was easy to contact and quick to respond to any messages we sent. Location is great for exploring Cuivre River State Park.
A group of us stayed here to attend a co-workers wedding. The house was a perfect fit for our group. Quite and serene location, close to Troy, and plenty of amenities to enjoy.
The house was ideal for our needs, especially with my son getting married just down the road; it was the perfect spot for the bridal party to get ready. However, some areas of the home could use better cleaning, and there was a strong sewer odor upstairs. The queen bed in the upstairs bedroom had such an uncomfortable mattress that my husband ended up sleeping on the couch.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave a review. We're glad our home was a great fit for your son's wedding and provided a convenient space for the bridal party to get ready.
We're sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. We were not made aware of these concerns during your visit, and we would have gladly addressed them at the time. We take cleanliness seriously, regularly inspect the property, and appreciate all feedback as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
We wish your family all the best and congratulations on the wedding!
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Location is great. We were going to the St. Louis but wanted a quieter area to stay and this place did not disappoint. Serene locale yet mere minutes away from Troy and its numerous amenities. No issues, would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
Nice house across the street from Cuivre River State Park
A friend and I stayed for easy access to Cuivre River State Park. This house delivered -- a short walk from the Old School hose trail. Also, multiple outdoor sitting areas, including a charcoal grill and fire pit.
Accommodated all of our family from out of town to attend our wedding anniversary party. Decorated very well with bonus of hostess providing multiple snacks.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Bed frame was broken, leaving a hole in the bed, doors didn’t shut. Upstairs bathroom was gross. The toilet was super low like potty training your kid low. Shower don’t have but like warm water and crusty caulking in the corners. The other beds were uncomfortable. Only sleeps 6 unless you want to sleep on the couch. Which would be a more comfortable choice. For the stay should have been half the price I paid without terrible beds.
Went for a New Years getaway with our daughter and friends
Everything was like walking into home from the first step into the property. It was clean, comfy and the added touches from the host topped it all off......from the slippers, we'll stocked kitchen and the added New Years treats our host left!
