About this property

Located only steps from the hard sand bottom of Lake Leelanau is this remodeled home for your family vacation. The property has a patio overlooking the lake, a covered deck to sip a drink on and all new appliances for your kitchen needs.

This three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house will satisfy a families needs inside and out. This home boasts 1900 square feet of living area including a huge 25' x 15' living room and a nice sitting area full of windows overlooking the lake. Outside the home are two different sitting areas, a covered porch overlooking the lake and a brick patio to sit on and eat at the picnic table. Further towards the lake is a fire pit to enjoy in the evening.

This house is located on a secluded private drive and makes for the perfect family get away. Please make note that this home is not just a rental home, but our home in our neighborhood. We have respect for our neighbors and insist on anyone staying here follows those rules as well.

A perfectly charming lake cottage

The lake frontage and view is stunning. Perfect hard sand lake bottom. Very clean, cozy, welcoming. Would definitely rent again!

Summer get away

The house was more spacious than we expected and so was the yard. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Nice location on the lake. If you want a quiet relaxing lake get away, this is it!

Peaceful vacation

My friends and I loved this house and was well stocked with everything we needed! The location was great and is only a short drive to Traverse City. It was spacious and the view is incredible. I would highly recommend this place!

Our family enjoyed this lakehouse

This is a very nice, spacious, very well equipped house, with a beautiful yard right on Lake Leelanau. There is a beautiful shade tree in the yard which makes it very comfortable to sit out by the lake any time of day. The one day it was extremely hot outside, the air conditioning was perfect inside. The host even provided a welcome note and a basket with some surprises in it... very kind and thoughtful! My mom is elderly and we did have to buy a bathmat for the tub so she wouldn't slip. She also had a little trouble with the stairs down into the lake to swim, but did OK. This is a beautiful house with spacious kitchen, dining area, and two living/family rooms to lounge in, The bedrooms are small, just enough room for the bed, and a bed stand. This wasn't a huge problem since we were not in the bedrooms except to sleep. The lake water was warm and great for swimming. There is some algae on the sandy floor and some weeds floating around but still great. Because of the location on the south end of the lake, we saw both the sunrises and the sunsets which were beautiful. I highly recommend this lakehouse for a family vacation. The hosts are kind and responsive and you'll enjoy the place immensely!
