You'll be staying on the 2nd floor of a 19th-century townhouse in downtown Jersey City. The house is one block from the Newark Avenue pedestrian plaza, with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. There's an ice cream shop (Torico) across the street. It's a five-minute walk to the Grove Street PATH station, where you can get the train to New York City or Hoboken. Door-to-door time to downtown NYC is about 20 minutes.
