About this property

Bonnefon - CESTAYROLS

Bonnefon in Occitan means "good spring," the Bonnefon gîtes, a hidden place, a small valley in the heart of the vineyard The Bonnefon cottages, a hidden gem, a small valley nestled in the heart of the vineyards. A true protected area where deer, hares, and herons find natural refuge. The spring in the small wood feeds the lake, a veritable oasis of coolness, where trout, roach, gudgeon, and tench thrive. Two rural cottages are tucked away here: the Bonnefon cottage right next to the lake, and Le Carretou (reference G489 on Gîtes de France, sleeps 6), a little further on, behind the wheat field. Both houses are typical of the Cordes plateau, built entirely of white stone, which stays wonderfully cool in summer. Peace and quiet will enhance your stay in this beautiful countryside setting, between vineyards and fields of grain. Discover the Bastide Country, the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, the Gaillac vineyards, Albi and its Episcopal City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can fish in the lake, stroll along the surrounding paths, enjoy the swimming pool (one private pool per cottage), and visit the church of Roumanou. THE COTTAGE: A completely independent house, right next to the lake, and 300 meters from the Le Carretou cottage. The cool lake and the shaded lawn invite you to relax. In summer, enjoy the private swimming pool (8.5m x 4m, depth 1.20m to 1.80m). The pool is heated and open from mid-May to mid-September. There is a covered terrace next to the kitchen and a ping-pong table. - On the ground floor, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a dining table, sofas, and a TV, as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. - Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a shower room with a separate toilet: - One bedroom with a queen-size bed (160cm) and a single bed (90cm) - One bedroom with a double bed (140cm) - The third bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a cot Heating is provided by a Godin wood-burning stove. Reversible air conditioning is available in the living room and upstairs. Baby equipment is also provided.
