Cozy 3 bed, 2 bath, Pet Friendly home. HOT TUB!

This rustic woodsy home located in lower Glaze Meadow sleeps 8 and is close to Glaze Meadow Pool and tennis. It is situated on the edge of Ranch property and backs up to National Forest.
Enjoy the wonderful forest views from the Great room and Deck The living area has a fireplace, HDTV with Blu-Ray, a stereo with CD and cassette player, and an assortment of puzzles and games. The adjoining dining area seats 6 and has lots of windows. A door off the dining area goes out onto the spacious back deck where the hot tub and Gas BBQ are located. The fully equipped kitchen provides seating for 4 at the countertop bar adjacent to the table. Downstairs is a King bedroom with bath and shower off the hallway. Upstairs is a bedroom with a Queen bed and another bedroom with two sets of bunks. There is a full bath in the hall between the two rooms.

7 NIGHT MINIMUM DURING JULY AND AUGUST

Cancellation Policy: 100% of paid prepayments will be refundable less a $100.00 administration fee if cancellation is received 45 days prior to your arrival date. There will be no refunds after 45 days prior to your arrival date.

House was clean and tidy upon arrival. Nice pool and rec center nearby. House is extremely dated, i.e. low countertops, wooden toilet seats, older furniture. The property manager, Kenndra, was very helpful and cheery.

Great little rental

This was perfect for our two families. Real traditional BBR cabin with a great layout. Backing up to the wooded area was amazing and provided the kids endless hours of fort building and pine cone hunts. Highly recommend

Peaceful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house faces the forest and feels private yet is within walking distance to Glaze Meadow and across the street from the golf course. The layout was perfect for our family and the kids enjoyed playing with the puzzles and toys and basketball hoop. The hot tub was private and well-maintained. All in all, highly recommend.

Thanksgiving Stay

The cabin is worn and dated which is fine with me. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were clean and tidy. However, the place could use a deep clean. Underlying surfaces were dusty, the oven was greasy (scheduled to be replaced). The property manager was awesome and responded promptly–in person!–to an issue with the TV and oven on the holiday eve.

Peaceful

This home has a beautiful outdoor deck backing up to the forest. We spent much of our time out there and commented many times how quiet it was out there. We slept with the windows open and even then we were surprised that no outside noise woke us. The home was clean, the hot tub was amazing; located close to golf, and within walking distance of the rec center. I did have to contact the owner a couple of times and they were very responsive, helpful, and friendly.

Walking paths are very nice. Needs some work. Front door knob needs replace. Lot of work to open. Post with house number knocked over so needs to be put back up or removed. One chair in dining room missing arm could be a safety hazard. But nothing that would keep me from renting again.

GM112: nice home with large, private deck

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Floorplan and location. Super nice, private deck which backs to natural area. We will hopefully rent again. Only complaint is that the garbage cans in the garage were full when we arrived. Oh, and the bikes in the garage were strewn all over the place - one with missing seat and one with flat back tire which someone had tried to fix, but must not have had tools.

The only issue was I could not get the fan in the living room to work even with the additional instructions in the guest book. We had friends in another house so in all fairness, we did not spend that much time in the house so it was fine. We loved the big deck and the hot tub. Some of the bikes and helmets need fixing/replacing but overall nice to have them to use. We would definitely come back to stay!

Wonderful home and responsive property management

This place is perfect except for one thing---no AC. I grew up without AC and enjoy a good fan during the day and high desert naturally chilly nites---however our stay coincided with hazardous air quality and a heat wave so we count have the wi does open. PM was very responsive and also delivered two more fans. We toughed it out for two nites and the air and heat returned to normal. Since August is the hot month with wild fire concerns we will skip this property then but would sure come back any other month. Such a nice place

The upstairs queen bed mattress pad was also ripped and did not stay on, so most mornings I woke up with my face on a bare mattress- gross!2. Multiple bottles of toiletries were empty/near empty on our arrival- would be nice if cleaning staff would check these and refill.3. Downstairs toilet was running/not flushing4. Upstairs bathtub drain needs to be cleared out- I pulled clumps of someone else's hair out of it with my bare hands but it needs to be done more thoroughly with a tool

The location for this property was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was good. The house is in serious need of updating. The upstairs shower never got warm. Pots and pans were grimey. There were bikes and helmets in the garage but that was not communicated, so we brought our own which was a hassle.

Perfect relaxation

Just what we’ve grown to expect over the years… Black Butte has always been our “end of summer” last hurrah for the family. This was our first experience at this house, and the property was perfect for us.

Classic and comfortable black butte cabin

Terrific and centrally located cabin near Glaze rec area. Large back deck with expansive forest views and a hot tub. Open main floor ties together the family / dining / kitchen with comfortable furniture. Main floor bedroom now has a comfortable king bed. Great spot for vacation.

Out of date, ants, broken fan and small hot water heater

The title says it all. This property is largely out of date and many things are in disrepair. Ants everywhere (it was a big problem). The property does not have AC, which is fine, except when the main fan breaks and no one comes to fix it during a week of 90 degree weather. They did drop off box fans, but it wasn’t enough. No more than two people could shower before the hot water ran out. When we arrived the hot tub could not be used- it smelled bad, had to be cleaned and refilled losing three days of use. Overall, pretty disappointed. Main positives were the location and comfortable beds.
