Take in the view from high up in the Tarn Valley. Nestled among the hills, the small village of Assac sits at an elevation of 460 metres, overlooking the Monts de l'Albigeois. The Ambialet Peninsula lies below, just 8 km from your lodging. For swimming, in addition to the cottage’s pool, you can follow the Tarn River all the way to Trebas Plage, 10 km away. ** THE COTTAGE ** A house of nearly 300 m² that can accommodate up to 14 people. It’s attached to the owners’ home; they are retired farmers. You’ll have access to a large, unfenced property and various outdoor areas all around. There’s a large concrete patio in front of the cottage with a covered area where you can enjoy your meals out of the heat, complete with a ping-pong table, pool table, plancha grill, and charcoal barbecue. Ground floor: - Dining room open to the fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and Senseo®, electric kettle) - Living room with sofas, foosball table, and TV - A bathroom and separate toilet. Access to the boiler room and the garage, which includes a storage area where bicycles of all sizes are available free of charge - Bedroom with a 160x200 cm double bed and a closet. The upper floor is accessible via two different staircases that go all the way around the house. The first leads from the living room to three bedrooms and the bathroom, and the second leads from the entryway to the other three bedrooms. - Bedroom with a double bed, a cot, and a sofa bed, - “Through” bedroom with a double bed and closets, - Bedroom with two double beds, - Bedroom with a double bed - Bedroom with a double bed and exterior access to the back of the house - Bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Double sinks and electric towel warmer - Separate half-bath with a washing machine. All beds upstairs are 140x190 cm. Outdoor areas are shared with the owners, who live on-site. Swimming pool to be shared with the grandchildren when they are present. Dimensions: 5x10m, 1.35m deep, with a wading area and steps. Pool open from June to September and secured by a roller cover and barriers. Sun deck and outdoor shower. Parking in front of the cottage, on the concrete courtyard. Wi-Fi available, but cell service is weak in some areas. Wind turbines are located more than 500 metres away, but they cannot be heard from the cottage.

Marie-Helene et Francis nous ont accueilli d'une façon merveilleuse dans leur belle et grande maison . Ce sont des personnes très généreuses. Je n'ai jamais loué une maison aussi bien équipée que ce soit la cuisine , la vaisselle, le linge de maison , toilette et piscine et les jeux pour petits et grands dont nous avons bien profité. Jy reviendrai dès que possible.
