This is a pleasant family home. Perfect for gathering with friends and family with many comforts for adults/children to relax and escape. Outdoor fire pit with long views. Books and toys can be provided for children. Excellent base to explore the foothills of the Berkshires. Private office is perfect for WFH.

Amazing host

The home was just as described. Property view was amazing and great for the kids to run around and get fresh air. Convenient location to where our events were. Sarah was amazing at communicating before and after our stay. Thank you so much - we will definitely stay again!

Weekend Stay

It was nice to find a place to stay with our two adult children while we attended a family funeral. Unfortunately we experienced a hot water issue. The landlord worked hard to remedy this as soon as possible as we all needed to shower. I would recommend this home to a single family vs. our six adults as the single shower downstairs had to be shared. Only a tub upstairs. The land and views were just beautiful. I wish we could have had more time to relax and enjoy the firepit.

Spacious and clean in a GREAT area

We enjoyed this spacious house for our family of 5 and our dog. Everyone (including the dog) loved the house and yard. It was comfortable and clean. If you can handle some older features of the house (as advertised), this place is a great value. My husband and I want to buy the same mattress in the master bedroom for our own house. Litchfield is beautiful. The street was a little busy, but the backyard was serene. We didn’t get a chance to visit the vineyard that was literally only a few properties up the road, but the owner was very nice and helpful over the phone. Stop and Shop and Walgreens were just a five-minute drive away. We enjoyed all the comforts of home while being close to a great skiing area and a quaint town. Thanks!

Perfect retreat space for writers

Four of us visited for a long holiday weekend and it was just the break from NYC we needed. The view from the property is gorgeous, and the house was spacious enough for each of us to claim our own sleeping and writing space. It was a great value.
