A beautifully renovated cottage just minutes away from Bantam and Litchfield, this is the perfect getaway for a couple or family to visit Litchfield County. Shops and recreation are close by but you are in a peaceful and bucolic setting with views of the Litchfield Land Trust forest and minutes from White Memorial. The master bedroom has a modern ensuite bathroom. There is plenty of room for up to three kids in an open second floor space. Enjoy the outdoor bluestone terrace for sunsets and grilling. Pool access during the summer months.

Just a wonderful cottage on a quiet street just outside of charming Bantam. The hosts are lovely and helpful and the cottage is very well equipped. The pool was perfect for the Indian Summer weather as well. I’m sure we will be back.

Although the description calls it an 1870 cottage it's much more comfortable and well-equipped than that might imply, especially the kitchen which has everything you could want for cooking. We especially loved the pool, hot tub, patio with a grill, and great location with easy access to town. Karen and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Just note the pool/hot tub is shared and there are some hour limitations.

Idyllic Litchfield Getaway

Jeffrey’s cottage is perfect for a Litchfield getaway - quiet and peaceful yet within close striking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The space is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and communication was a breeze. Our only hope is that next time we’ll be able to stay longer!

Mother daughter trip

Spacious well appointed comfortable cottage in a great location near anything you could need, quiet and beautiful. Enjoyed a long weekend and can’t wait to return one day. Very thoughtful owners- had snow in April and every morning the path was cleared and sweep for the car was ready and waiting.

Awesome location for Mohawk and Litchfield

Beautiful home with great spaces for kids in the single beds in the attic and adults on main floor master. If you’re looking for a getaway to stay and explore Litchfield or ski on Mohawk, this place is great.

This property was lovely. As a former resident in CT, I appreciate the New England charm. The house was pristine. Unfortunately I was in for a memorial and during a snow storm. Jeffrey and his family were so accommodating and so kind to us. I highly recommend this home. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect Holiday Spot

We stayed at this lovely New England home for Christmas. We are originally from the area and traveled to spend the holidays with family. We were lucky enough to have a white Christmas and the kids were thrilled, as we now live in NC and don’t get snow often. The hosts were lovely and attentive, even bringing over a couple of sleds for us to use and we had a blast. Would definitely recommend to anyone for this perfect country setting spot, that is also convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful home for family stay

Beautiful home - perfect for our family to stay in over the holidays when there wasn’t enough room At the family home where we were visiting. Just note that although it states 3 bedrooms it is really 2 bedrooms - master on first floor and open space on 2nd floor (no door to the second floor) with 4 beds. It worked for my 3 kids but not sure it would work for ppl looking to have more privacy And separate bedrooms.

Amazing staycation!

My now husband and I decided to book this property since it was close to our wedding venue! We stayed two nights and it was the best experience! Not only is the house and property gorgeous, but the hosts are very responsive and nice. The house had everything and was super clean and spacious. Overall I would book this location again for a lovely staycation experience. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

It was absolutely amazing. The photos don't do it justice. Location of the home, amenities in the home, views, etc. were well beyond expectations and my expectations were already high. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great 2 night stay here. The host responded quickly to a few questions, and was gracious and friendly while there. The house met our needs, with a bedroom downstairs, and then a large room upstairs that has 3 beds with a lot of room, etc. It was clean and updated in the kitchen and main bathroom. Nice view out the back and a patio for enjoying that. Location was great - out on a beautiful country road, but just a few minutes to town. Would recommend.

I rented this charming cottage in Litchfield to celebrate a milestone Birthday, as I love this area of CT. I couldn’t be happier about our experience.
