This small village in the Conflent region, with its cobbled streets and church, is perfect for a stay surrounded by nature and exploring the region's remarkable sites: the Gorges de la Fou and the Orgues d'Ille-sur-Tet. From the cottage, you'll be just a few kilometers from Lake Vinça and hiking trails. You'll enjoy the typical Fenouillèdes setting with its shallow valleys, rounded mountains, and landscapes alternating between cultivated fields, wasteland, and natural areas. Located a few kilometers from the vacation rental, the castle sits atop a steep hill. This village house includes a rural gîte developed by the municipality and two year-round rentals, located in a listed building in the heart of the village, near the castle: First floor: - Living room with kitchenette: sofa bed for 1 person - Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140x190 cm) - Shower room - Separate toilet Communal parking is 50 meters away. A terrace is accessible via an external staircase. Come and stay in Montalba-le-Château, where you will enjoy the tranquility of a typical Catalan village, for a holiday surrounded by nature.
