Almost Perfect: Extra Spacious Layout - Brand New Hot Tub - Overlooks Dollywood

- ALL ADVERTISED "2 BEDROOM CABINS" features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) second bedroom upstairs sharing the floor with the game area. In other words, the king bed located in the open loft floor is considered the "second bedroom"; please understand, one out of the two bedrooms in this cabin does not contain a door that allows for any privacy from the rest of the floor. The pull-out sofa is located in the LOFT as well. 
- Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there are neighboring cabins to be mindful of.
- Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort features inclined roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably.
- Overlooks Dollywood Amusement Park; During Dollywood's hours of operation, expect to hear the Dollywood train horn sound off often.
- Offers a gas fireplace that is for ambiance purposes only. This fireplace is not advertised as a heating source for the cabin.
- Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to provide that rustic, but luxurious cabin feel.
- Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

The cabin is just as described and was immaculate upon arrival. We had no issues during our stay so unable to comment on host responsiveness. The checkout instructions were short and simple. Would return.

Love the area!

We loved the cabin- from the gorgeous views, close proximity to anything and everything, game room, hot tub and nightly fireworks shows, it was a blast! Only down side is that it had a musty smell and some dust bunnies on the rafters above the bed, cramped location of the dish washer, and the pac man game not working. Those were out-shadowed by the wonderful memories we made. We can’t wait to come back!

NEW CABIN NAME NEEDED

The cabin name of Almost Perfect is not accurate! It is Absolutely Perfect! We had the best time! Enjoyed the hot tub with the Mountain View’s, the rocking chairs on the deck, kids loved the game room, and the weekend fireworks from the decks. The pool was super clean and not crowded. There are plenty of things you can do around here to be social distanced and outside. Hiked to waterfalls, great restaurants, parrot mountain, go carts, Arts and crafts shopping and went ghost hunting. We had bear success by seeing three! Our favorite place to stay by far and it is our 4th time in the area. We will be back soon!

Our family enjoyed “Almost Perfect” very much! The nightly fireworks/drone show from Dollywood was a bonus. The games on the second floor really kept the family entertained the entirety of our stay. The office was extremely responsive and when we had a little trouble with the fridge, maintenance was there right away to take care of it; even brought a back up just in case. We appreciated that very much as we had a lot of food with us. The cabin was clean, the views were amazing and we loved it so much, we added another day to our stay! We were lucky enough to be able to book an additional night at the last minute. It was so hard to leave. For our first trip to the Smokey’s, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you

Panoramic mountain views including the ferris wheel

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is easy access, in and out of the cabin as well as the road to it. The views were fabulous! You can see for miles. The cabin was conveniently located to Dollywood and the best restaurants.

Review of Almost Perfect

First, the gas fireplace didn’t work and I found out that this problem has been ongoing for months...they did give me a small refund but part of the experience of a log cabin is sitting around the fireplace. Secondly, many light bulbs were not working...there were ladybugs all over the living room floor which we had to clean up...main floor bathroom is very small and the kitchen is very small too...couldn’t find the router...had to call in order to find...they control the AC and heat...we couldn’t go below 69 for air and more than 73 for heat...we pay for this and should be able to set the thermostat where we want...had to use two separate remotes for the tv because the volume didn’t work on one...loved the upstairs game room and the view was spectacular. Overall, I would rate this stay as just ok...on a scale of 1-10, I would give a 6. Not sure we will be back and not sure about recommendations. Thanks

It was clean and entertaining. Not far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and a wonderful view of the cities below from the top and bottom porch and the hot tub.

My husband and I along with our 13 and 7 year old stayed in Almost Perfect. The cabin was beautiful and really clean. We have enjoyed visiting Pigeon Forge every year during Fall Break for the last five years and this cabin was, by far, our favorite. The view from the second floor balcony is amazing. The location was perfect for our family. Close to Dollywood and all of the activities that Pigeon Forge has to offer. The cabin is close to other cabins but we felt very secluded. The only complaint was the main level mattress was too firm for our taste. The second floor mattress was not super comfortable but was better than the downstairs. We loved the hot tub and the kids loved the air hockey & pool table upstairs. We will most likely rent this cabin again next Fall.

It was Almost Perfect, but not quite.

The fireplace did not work. There were 2 switches on each side of it and a timer. The timer would work, but the switches did not. There was a light bulb out in master bath, on the main floor, above the vanity. There was no drain plug to keep the water from draining out of the Jacuzzi bathtub, so you couldn't fill the tub with water to take a bath. There were not enough towels. We had to wash towels while we were there. It was not cleaned well. My youngest son found on the floor by the pool table, a partial piece of packaging, it was an inappropriate cartoon image on cardboard backing to packaging. It was also supposed to be a non-smoking cabin and there were ashtrays on each level. Over the last 21 years, we have used VRBO to book cabins. We have always had great luck. This time we had to stop by a rental office. We did not like having to stop by a rental office to sign paperwork, get directions, lock code, etc. Our credit card card was already charged to rent the cabin. However, when we arrived at the rental office they took my credit card again, plus my drivers license. I don't understand why they would ask for my credit card again, when the payment had already went through when the cabin was reserved. That seemed very shady to us. Always in the past, the directions and the keypad code were already emailed to us prior to arrival. I won't use this company again.

Great Cabin! Would stay here again!

This cabin was great! It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. All games and hot tub were in working order. Kids will stay busy with the games and 3 televisions. The view was amazing and in the afternoons you can hear the train at Dollywood. It is about 10 minutes from the main strip, but worth it. The only item to bring is extra bath towels and towels for the hot tub. We didn't want to wash clothes so we ran a little short (we stayed 4 nights and there were 3 of us). The Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal and dishwasher worked well. The house was very clean and in order when we arrived. We would stay here again!

ABSOLUTELY ALMOST PERFECT

My husband and I came here for our 5th Anniversary April 2008. It was amazing, the view was GREAT, everything was very clean. Our whole visit to Tennessee was awesome other than the fact that 2 days into our stay I had 2 gallbladder attacks and was put on a bland diet, we are planning on coming back this time without a gallbladder...lol and with the kids they would love this cabin!!!!
