"Black Forest cottage" 123 m², garden, beautiful and quiet location, Bad Herrenalb

Our Black Forest house - which is very personally furnished, since we also use it ourselves - is close to meadows and forest. In the large sunny garden, deckchairs and the grill are waiting to be used. The house is mainly equipped with wooden floors and has a tiled stove, so that you can make yourself comfortable in the evening or in winter. Hiking trails are right by the house, in winter there is a cross-country ski run and a sledge slope after 5 minutes by car. A thermal bath and the beautifully designed swimming pool are 2 km away, as is the lovely town of Bad Herrenalb. Attractive cities like Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe or Strasbourg can be reached quickly, and the Black Forest National Park is also not far. If you want to use public transport, you can use the free cone card.
If you want to do wellness, you will find various beautiful thermal baths in the area. In the hotel two houses further you can use a sauna.
We value sustainable materials when furnishing the house and have green electricity.

Beautiful surroundings and very agreeable stay

I found this to be a very cosy and spacious house with a beautiful garden. The area was peaceful which was highly appreciated. My kids loved rolling down the 'hill' in the garden. We hail from flat country ;-) I definitely recommend this place.

Family vacation

Our family vacation included 2 children and 5 adults. We enjoyed our stay very much. The garden was great for the children to play in, and all of us gathered around the large table on the patio for meals. Great opportunities to hike as well as parks in the town make this an excellent destination for all ages. Highly recommended!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, bietet aber alles was wir brauchten. Vor allem liegt es absolut ruhig und hat einen großen Garten. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen.

Gemütlich und ruhiges Haus - perfekt für den Natururlaub

Wir (4 Personen) hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt - man kann gut kochen und in Ruhe lesen und den Garten geniessen. Es gibt Wanderwege vor der Tür und Bad Herrenalb ist per Fuss in ca. 30 min zu erreichen (für den Einkauf zu Fuss dauert‘s etwas länger).

Fijn verblijf in mooie omgeving

Vakantiewoning was in basis goed met een fijne overkapping. We werden fijn welkom geheten door Michael. Oprit niet geschikt voor lange personenbus. Verder in de omgeving alleen maar particulier parkeren. Mooie omgeving, maar naast wandelen is er niet veel te doen. Woning ligt wat verder van het dorpscentrum af.

Maison spacieuse et confortable. Bonne situation.

Schönes Häuschen, allerdings sind vor allem die Bäder doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Lage ist ideal zum Wandern. Von Bad Herrenalb kommt man mit der S-Bahn dank Konuskarte kostenlos bis nach Karlsruhe

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage.

Wir haben als Gruppe von sieben Personen ein wunderschönes Wochenende in Bad Herrenalb verbracht und unsere Tage und Nächte im Feriendomizil sehr genossen. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und persönlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gemütliche Inneneinrichtung im Wohnzimmer und der schöne Garten mit toller Aussicht. Ideal, um nach schönen Wanderungen auszuspannen und die Ruhe zu genießen. Als kleine Anregung: Einzig ein paar größere Trinkgläser wären noch eine lohnenswerte Anschaffung🙂. Wir hoffen, nochmal nach Bad Herrenalb zurückzukehren und bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die schöne Zeit! Viele Grüße Moritz H.

Das Ferienhäuschen ist ideal für ein verlängertes Wander- und Erholungswochenende im Grünen. Garten und Terrasse sind ein Traum! Direkt von der Haustür weg führen tolle Wanderwege. Einrichtung des Hauses ist völlig okay, Bäder und Küche etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber auf alle Fälle zweckmäßig. Wer Ruhe sucht und gerne draußen ist, der sollte hier ein Wochenende verbringen.

Sehr gemütliche Betten, gute Matratzen, warme Decken - wir konnten gut schlafen! Unser Gastgeber hat uns freundlich begrüßt und war sehr hilfsbereit. Sehr idyllisch gelegenes Ferienhäuschen. Solide Ausstattung.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alles was benötigt wurde vor Ort vorgefunden. Lediglich die Matratzen sind etwas duchgelegen und könnten erneuert werden.
