Quiet rural French retreat

Situated in the beautiful village of Theil, in the South of the Deux-Sevres department,reknowned for its fields of sunflowers and micro-climate.

This charming traditional French Gite comprises of on the ground floor :- Living/dining area with a wood burner, well equipped kitchen, utility/toilet room.

Stairs lead from the living area to the first floor where there are 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people and two shower rooms.

The Gite is easy accessible by car, or alternatively the region is well served by airports at Poitiers, La Rochelle, Tours and Limoges. Additionally, the Eurostar/TGV operates a service from London St Pancras to Poitiers.

Externally to the front of the property there are 2 lawned areas and a drive with space for two cars. At the rear there is a private garden with a 6.5 metre swimming pool enclosed by a Cypress hedge.

The Gite is also equipped with English TV, accessible via Freesat.

Free WiFI is also provided.

A fantastic stay, with everything you could need and a really wonderful host. The pictures do not do it justice, the pool is huge and the accommodation comfortable and well stocked. We will be back for sure!

The photos of the property do not do it justice, it is absolutely beautiful. We had a really wonderful stay here, Phillip was very attentive and informative. Magnifique contact avec le propriétaire, discret, efficace, serviable. La maison est spacieuse, tout à fait équipée. Des grandes surfaces sont proches (quelques minutes). Nous avons vécu des vacances familiales très agréables avec des visites dans des villes voisines (Poitiers, Angoulème, Niort, le Parce des singes... Tous ces lieux à 30 min ou 1 heure de voiture.

Excellent séjour dans un logement très agréable

Le logement est conforme à la description, bien équipé, literie confortable, agréable à vivre et surtout au calme très appréciable. Très bon accueil du propriétaire et bonne communication au cours du séjour (merci pour le dépannage de la tv!) Notre plus jeune fils ne voulait pas en repartir! Prévoir un peu de voiture pour des visites (45 min à 1h); sinon petit supermarché à 5 min et centre plus important à 15 min (en voiture) Logement à garder en mémoire
