The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the newly renovated, former rectory. The house dates from the Wilhelminian period and was built in the neo-Gothic style.

Excellent apartment for a self-catering stay in the Rhine Valley. The owner spoke excellent English so communication was easy. Well equipped apartment and central to the main attractions in the area. Off street parking available and close to train station too.

Wispertrails und Wein

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem was man braucht und sehr nette Gastgeber mit eigenem Weinverkauf. Zwar fahren regelmäßig Schiffe und Züge in der Nähe vorbei, diese haben uns persönlich aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Von der Wohnung aus haben wir mehrere sehr schöne Wanderungen auf dem Rheinsteig und auf den Wispertrails gemacht. Die Landschaft ist einzigartig. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Wanderung „Rhein-Wisper-Glück“ und eine Wanderung nach Kaub über den Rheinsteig. Das Städtchen Kaub ist sehr sehenswert. Leider fuhr die Rheinfähre zur Zollburg Pfalzgrafenstein nicht wegen Hochwassers. Wir haben in Kaub lecker im Weingut Bahles am Ortsrand gegessen und dort natürlich ein gutes Gläschen Wein getrunken. Es war eine rundherum wunderschöne Reise und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Geräumige, recht neue Ferienwohnung. Trotz der Lage zwischen Straße und Bahngleisen recht ruhig. Der Wein des Hauses hat auch gut geschmeckt:-)

Was mehr als gut war: Lage der Wohnung für einen Wanderurlaub, Zuschnitt und Einrichtung der Wohnung, Ausblick auf den Rhein, schalldichte Fenster, Sauberkeit, große Handtücher, Weine in der Minibar Was nicht so gut war: es gibt nicht genügend Parkplätze am Haus, Matratzen eher weich, die Küche könnte mit mehr Utensilien ausgestattet sein (z.B. Schneidebretter, Salatbesteck)

Sehr schöner kurzer Urlaub, ob Rhein aufwärts oder Rhein abwärts toll Ausgangslage. Sehr nette Vermieter in einer er ganz tollen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Habe mich selten so wohl gefühlt. Würde ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen.
