Away From The Fray offers a quiet place to relax and make memories but also close to all the fun in Pigeon Forge. Minutes from Dollywood and the parkway, you'll be in town in no time without having to drive winding mountain roads.

The living room is open concept with high ceilings with a stone stacked wood burning fireplace (operational Oct-March). We provide the initial starter firewood bundle only.

On the main level, you will find a cozy Queen size master bedroom off the kitchen. The Kitchen is fully stocked and had place settings for up to 6 guests. The bedroom has a night stand and dresser with a 32 inch LCD. The on suite bathroom can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom has a 60 inch walk in shower with bowed shower curtain. The stack-able washer/dryer is also located in the bathroom if needed.

The natural wood staircase will lead you to the open loft equipped with a twin on twin trundle bed, vintage 2 player Multicade game that has over 50 titles to choose from, a large connect 4 game and a TV with a equipped with PS4 and mini Nintendo console to play video games!!

Back downstairs, you'll enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook your favorite meal if you are staying in.

If you step out the back door you will find a covered deck, a perfect place to enjoy your favorite morning coffee. The back deck is also where the 5 person hot tub and gas grill are located. There is also a charcoal grill out front if you prefer grilling with charcoal. Cell phone service and Free high speed WiFi is available throughout the cabin.

For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

This was our second time staying at Away From the Fray and just like our first stay, we had a wonderful time! The cabin was super clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the location is fantastic for doing all the Pigeon Forge things. The only slight downside was that the pillows were so thick that sleeping was difficult. We will be back!

Great Stay!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay recently. This cabin was in the perfect location only a few minutes from town but still far enough away to get the mountain feel. The cabin had everything that we needed! Thank you for a great stay!

Football Tournament Trip

Prefect getaway cabin

We spent two nights at Away from the Fray for the Christmas season this year and we were blown away with how cozy and convenient this cabin was. Beautodully decorated, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Very Cozy

We had an excellent stay! We could not have been happier with our stay in this super cute cabin. It was warm, welcoming and nicely decorated for the Fall season. The cabin and kitchen were well stocked with anything you might need. The host was quick to reply with any questions that we had. "Away From the Fray", but convenient to all attractions in the area. Highly recommend!

Fall Getaway

Lovely Cabin!

The cabin and accommodations was everything described and more! It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with essential goods. We loved that it was located within the woods, yet we could get to town in 10min. or less. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return.

Awesome Cabin!

We stayed for the week over the 4th of July and it was awesome! Very clean and comfortable. My 7 year old and 3 year old loved having their own loft area and had a ton of fun with the games. The hot tub worked great. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

Nice stay for a small family

We enjoyed our stay and perfect place for the family of 4(including 2 toddlers). Kim is a great host and very quick to communicate. Movies and video games collection are perfect to enjoy some indoor time. Though it’s very close to the road, but we don’t get much traffic noise unless it’s a fire truck or police car sirens. There are 2 pizzerias close by to quickly grab some pizza/calzones or restaurants in Dollywood are not very far either. The only negative had when we were enjoying some morning time on the front porch, there were mosquitoes flying around and we had to immediately go inside. However, we would love to stay again.

Jared and I are native Tennesseans. We've traveled all over, but the Smoky Mountains have always been a favorite for hiking, shopping, attractions, camping etc. (although as we get older tent camping isn't as easy as it used to be!) There is just so much to offer here. We love it so much we decided to buy a cabin here so when we have the chance to get away, we would have a special place. Our favorite thing to do is making memories with each other and our children and what better place than here?!

Why they chose this property

When we decided to buy a cabin, we finally narrowed it down to what we really wanted and Away from the Fray had everything we had on our checklist. Its cozy and quaint, nestled in a wooded setting, but central to all the fun! As soon as I walked into the cabin I felt at home and knew this is the one! We hope our guests feel at home just as we do here!

What makes this property unique

There are not any mountain roads to climb to get to the cabin. You will be just a hop, skip and jump over to Dollywood and the main road for pigeon forge. Gatlinburg is also just a short drive away. Its truly a very central location to access the National park and all the attractions Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer.
