We love pets and have had them . However because of serious allergies to animals with family members we have to be an animal free zone at our home.

We had a fantastic time overall during our stay! The experience was so enjoyable that we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to visit. We are already planning to return and do it again in the future!
Nice cabin, great view. There is another cabin directly in front of it but it is far enough away to be private. Spacious, clean, nice hot tub. Enjoyed our stay.
Our family immensely enjoyed staying at the Ranch House for several days, and we were sad for our visit to end. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. The living area was lovely & open. The kitchen had great appliances. The view from the front porch was breath-taking, and the cabin was a convenient distance from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!
We absolutely loved the location and the cabin. We were only here for two days but we really enjoyed our stay. Our only recommendation would be upgrade the mattresses in all three rooms.
Love this cabin, the nature sounds were relaxing. I usually have my Alexa Dot to put me to sleep. Very family oriented. We had Dance/cheer competition in Gatlinburg, TN. The DXA Allstar Won 1st place in 3 different categories, our team hit GRAND CHAMPIONS!!!! So pour of DXA Allstar. The owner is very detailed about to location of the cabin. If i every visit TN again i would stay here.
My daughter, grandson and I had a wonderful time. The cabin is beautiful, we had everything we needed. The cabin is very clean. The location is perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to restaurants and shopping. The owners are very nice and the communication was top notch. We definitely will stay here again
We loved staying in this cabin. It was so clean, peaceful, and roomy. We highly recommend staying here. The owners were so easy to communicate with and made things so easy to check in and out. The cabin is tastefully decorated with Christmas vibes. We will be back!
The house was super! Lean and welcoming. Away from the hustle and bustle of tourism but an easy drive to the activities. Guy was quick to respond to communication!
This place was a very nice getaway for our family. It wasn't too far away from Pigeon Forge. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings drinking coffee and watching all the animals. We did get a surprise with the deer coming for a visit in the wooded area beside the cabin. The cabin was spacious enough for our grandson to roam and play. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks for our time staying here. We hope to stay again in the future.
The house and the property were absolutely beautiful we even saw a couple deer in the yard. I do wish they had a step for the hot tub it would have made it so much easier getting in and out. It didn’t stop me from getting in lol
Very clean and spacious house near all the important destinations
My wife and I enjoyed our stay and didn't want the leave!
The pictures in the listing don't do the property any justice. The house is very well decorated and in great condition. The Roku TVs are a nice touch since my kids are familiar with all the cool Roku streaming channels.
We were close to Pigeon Forge, which is convenient for dining out. And within 30 min drive to Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains NP, and other things to do.
My only criticism is that additional bath towels and bed sheets should be made available in case of cold nights and other needs.
Front screen door needs lock/handle fixed and a light on back porch steps would be awesome. Beautiful cabin but we were a little disappointed by lack of Christmas decorations in and around house when the other Christmas bear cabin was decked out and lit up, warm and inviting. Lol, but maybe I read description wrong, as well as lack of lighting leading up the dark driveway through trees to house. First time I’ve stayed in a cabin in the area where there was no coffee, creamer, sugar supplies provided. Been going for over 20 years and Used to those little things that andd a personal touch. Enjoyed our time however.
First off, Guy is awesome and has EXCELLENT communication. He was there at the property next door a couple days while we there and my son very muched enjoyed watching him mow the lawn with the tractor! He of course asked our permission when doing anything outdoors that might inconvenience us.
The location is PERFECT to go to the National Park in a far less crowded entrance and a beautiful picnic spot right on the river as soon as you get in. Maybe a 7 minute drive? Also HIGHLY recommend the new Foothills Pathway drive, unbelievable scenery!!
We stayed in the newer cabin on the property and it is very comfortable and well finished. Felt right at home. The kitchen is GREAT, the upstairs shower was really nice and the new hot tub was very relaxing after days of adventuring.
We loved how quiet the area was, not a main tourist spot and the scenery from the cabin was quite nice. You can see the road from the cabin and there was a little more traffic than we expected for the area, but nothing like a main road. Maybe 10 cars/30 minutes?
Guy puts in a lot of effort to make this place really nice and I'm excited to see the improvements he makes to the property in the future. We will DEFINITELY be back to visit, maybe even rent both places and bring family and friends.
To note, the new and old cabins are pretty close together. We basically had the whole property to ourselves when we were there though but it might be a different experience if there were other renters in the other place.
This is the first vacation we've been able to take in several years. Also, my first time ever renting a house/cabin. The overall process was extremely easy. Everything was mapped out exactly like owner stated. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and can't wait to book again!
Very convenient location to the things we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley, and we had so much privacy. We did have to wash bath towels and washcloths once to have enough to use through the weekend, so we had to buy some clothes detergent. Overall a great place that I would recommend in the future

Married 50 years and came to Gatlinburg on our Honeymoon. We have visited most every year since. We love the area and 20 years ago bought our first small cabin on Ski Mountain. During the wild fires of 2016 it burned along with 2000 other cabins and buildings in Gatlinburg. In 2017 we rebuilt a beautiful cabin that the new one you now see is an exact replica but 20-25% larger with some great additions. After trying to get our neighbors to sell one of their properties to no avail so we could build another one on Ski Mtn for more family to visit during the same time we decided to sell and buy in Wears Valley which we think is the most beautiful area of the entire Smokies. After trees continuing to fall on ski mtn from the fires of 2016, power lines, steep drives we wanted a safer , less crowded and better views of the mountains. Wears Valley gave us that opportunity and instead of two half acre lots we got 5 lots totaling 15 acres with a stream running through them and beautiful mountain views. But this time with a flat drive way and roads getting there. We fell in love with Wears Valley a beautiful and still unspoiled part of the Smokies and Gatlinburg area. The bonus was we bought from the original family that settled Wears Valley the Crowson family which the valley was named after until about 100 years ago when it was named after a confederate war officer. The Crowson family has owned this land since 1802 and been living here since 1795 when the original family member aaron came to settle and make a home for his young family. The US Govt gave him the first land grant in the valley which was 2000 acres. The family has lived here since then and we bought from the 7th generation Crowson last year. The history is rich here. We now own the largest original piece bought directly from the first family. Their family cemetary is about 1/4 mile away with every generation Crowson buried there beginning with AARON. You can find it by googling it. You are allowed to visit.
Why they chose this property
The Why goes on and on. We have already given a big piece of it. History of over 200 years from the original family. Views of the mountains. The beauty of the Valley is breathe taking in every season . Peaceful and much less crowded than the touristy spots yet just minutes out of Pigeon Forge and the many famous attractions and about 12 miles from Gatlinburg.
What makes this property unique
Less crowded. Unspoiled. Peaceful. 15 acres of beautiful land with woods, creek, open spaces and beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. Owners Apt attached to cabin with separate entrance . Apt rarely used but available when needed for maintenance or emergencies. This is not accessible to the cabin or cabin to apt. This small apt is not available for rental but is a great asset to having this 15 acre, 3 cabin property. The Cabins are : Only 2.5 miles from the best kept entrance of the National Park here in Wears Valley. Close to Cades Cove, townsend and tubing and just minutes into Pigeon Forge. Stay on the original settlers land that was in the same family for over 7 generations and now we have the honor of being part of that history.
