The cottage was just perfect for the two of us! It was clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which was clean and ready to go for us. The view of the mountains was breathtaking We will definitely be booking again!
Clean space, friendly and detailed host, great outdoor space. We loved the back patio and enjoyed having a fire and hanging out at the table on the back patio. Nice and quiet for the weekdays we were there.
Everything went smoothly and we had a great trip! The cabin is cute with great views and the screen helps the hot tub to feel private. Owner is still doing renovations but nothing felt undone. Very close to a lot of cute shops and restaurants in Wears Valley.
Glenns place was perfect for my husband and I it felt like home! We loved the fact that it was close it everything but just far enough away from everything! We are already making plans to come back I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else after staying here! I appreciated that it was so easy to contact the owner he was so kind during our stay!

The house was very clean when we arrived. Housekeeping even had music on when we came arrived. After getting settled felt perfectly at home. Spoke to the host several times. Made sure we had all we needed. Checked with us again as we were leaving to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again.

Short stay get away
A little more away from pigeon forge than I would have liked, and although I know they are working on the property it really needs to have a good cleaning, there was dust accumulated on the furniture and lamps shades. For some constructive criticisms there needs to be a small chest to store clothes and miscellaneous items and a larger refrigerator/freezer, it also could use a stove. The large tub in bedroom is ok but the space could be used better for some of the other needs.

Denny,
Thank you for your review. I will certainly check with my housekeeper on the dust you saw. As for the other items, there are significant upgrades coming to address indoor and outdoor furniture needs. This includes: Improved laundry/storage, New HVAC, Bedroom storage, Added pergola with hot tub / fire pit, renovated kitchen with larger appliances, new landscaping, and other items. This process will take about 90-120 days and by next season we hope to have ll these completed.
We appreciate your feedback and we have sought to make allowances/disclaimers for our updates in our pricing and descriptions. We hope you will check us out again in the future once the improvements are finalized.
Location is great close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. House is cute small and good for just 2 people. I do have some complaints though... plumbing was awful. The toilet didnt flush properly and as soon as you start the water for the shower the tub is already filling with water where its clogged. So you basically shower with water filling the tub. Also there were so many gnats in the bathroom around the sink.

Audrey,
Thank you for the feedback. I will have the slow drain examined ASAP. I was not aware. I will also have our pest control company look at the gnat issue today. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I only wish we had known sooner to be able to address this during your stay.
Peace,
Glenn

Great location.
Like a tiny home pieced together. Ceiling was awful, view of attic thru crack. Hot tub was not fixed by Tuesday as advised. No privacy around non working hot tub. Deck was falling apart. Pipes coming up from ground around steps.

David, Thank you for your feedback. I am a bit surprised by some of your concerns based on the conversation we had on the phone where these did not come up. A few responses to bring clarity for all.
The Hot Tub was discussed on our call and chat that we were hoping to have the parts in on time but alas supply chain is an issue, this also plays a role in the top soil coming in to fill the area by the back door where old pipes preceding our ownership were underground. Top soil is hard to get right now.
As for privacy, we have ordered the shades that will cover that area once the Hot Tub is up and running but again, the particular ones we ordered have not arrived as of this date. We anticipate both will be fixed in the next week.
As for the ceiling, we did have a minor water issue that we are aware the ceiling needs to be repainted. It just hasn’t been able to be done between guests yet.
Again, thank you for the feedback and as I stated in our text messages you are welcome back any time and can receive our loyalty discount. We hope to be able to exceed your expectations as we strive to do with all our guests. We will take each comment into consideration and always work to improve.
Peace,
Glenn

Unclean Property
I was excited as I drove up the driveway, but I was quickly disappointed when I walked into the house. The exterior of the house is cute and the neighborhood is nice. As my husband and I walked through the house, it was apparent the place was hardly cleaned, if at all. There were chip crumbs on the couch, a booger on the bathroom wall, what appeared to be a pubic hair in the bathroom sink, ants on the kitchen counter, and several dead insects throughout the house. Based on the website pictures, I was expecting the house to be of a higher caliber but the place was built with the cheapest material you can build with. Given the price, the cheap build is not the gripe rather an observation. The worst of it all was the uncleanliness of the place.

Elizabeth, Thank you for taking time to review our property. I was very surprised by this review and disheartened that your stay was not to your liking. As you can see from other reviews we take pride in caring for this property and value each of our guests.
I was also concerned that upon your arrival that we were not contacted to be able to address any concerns or assist you in any way. Me and my team work very hard to serve our guests and it would have been our pleasure to address any concerns. I have reached out to my crew on this issue and we will do a full examination of what happened on your visit which has not been the norm for our many guests. I will reach out to you directly to discuss this and do what we can to ensure an excellent experience for all. - Thank you Glenn Lewis.
Property is amazing! Just secluded enough that it’s quiet, but close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Views and hot tub were our favorite part. Property owner was very responsive and helpful when we had a little problem.
My husband and I stayed here as we traveled the Southeast for a long weekend. It was the perfect spot to not be stuck in the busyness of Gatlinburg but close enough if you wanted to enjoy those attractions. We loved the peaceful area and the easy access to Smokey Mountain National Park as well as other local spots for food and drink! We enjoyed the amazing mountain views and open skies at night to see the stars.
My husband and I had a great time staying at Glenn's place. It was a great getaway spot for us very peaceful, amazing views of the mountains, it was like home away from home. He also had everything you need for a nice stay. The house was very clean and well organized we will definitely stay again. Thanks so much!
Loved our stay all except the hiccups on our part. Cottage was very inviting and relaxing. Looks better than pics. The owner Glenn is super nice and helpful. There whenever there's a issue that needed address to even if it's your fault lol. He is always doing more to property to make it even better . Can't wait to come stay again.
I definitely will try to rent again next year. I loved the location and the views and the hot tub most definitely after a long day out exploring. It’s not far from cades cove are pigeon forge. The cabin owner Glenn is a great guy and response really quick if anything is needed. Overall great vacation thanks Glenn
We were looking for something small and quiet, away from all of the tourist attractions, yet close enough if we decided to venture in that direction. We found it in this property! Everything was exactly as described and the owner, Glen, was so helpful and prompt answering our questions. We had a lovely trip and we would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.
Property is very close to Laurel Falls. Great back entrance into Smokey Mountains (about 10 minutes to entrance). Unit is very user friendly to couples or families with 1 child. Glenn was great to work with when things happened to unit that required assistance.
Unit has been upgraded and owner continues to upgrade. Only recommendations are to make sure tankless hot water and air conditioners are turned to as soon as you arrive. If you forget you are standing in the shower and waiting for hot water. Nice small unit for couple very quiet and private
Drive time to Pigeon strip is about 20 minutes and downtown Gatlin about 30.
Lots of nature at property. Ate breakfast on porch with pair of woodpeckers - lots of fun (not so much for Glenn)
Nice place for you and spouse, warm and cozy. Just wished the area for toilet was bigger and driveway paved. The toilet was a tight squeeze for my 6'5 boyfriend. We have a low car and had trouble getting up the driveway especially when it rain. Other than that loved the space and views
