I was not here to ski. I was here to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and my surroundings. Everything was perfect. Clean premises clean apartment. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful view of the changing trees on property outside of Manchester in Arlington, VT. Close proximity to lots of historical things to see. Enjoyed the privacy, foliage and friendly host.
Good place to stay with a well-equipped kitchen. It has a well lived-in feel, as opposed to a spotless modern hotel feel, so don't expect luxury. But it is homey and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had an issue with bees getting inside the apartment, and we had to leave early (I'm allergic). The host is working on resolving the problem. Host is very responsive and easy to work with.
Owner Brain was very nice, greeted us when we arrived. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! We cooked breakfast and dinner and all we had to bring was the food. Brian had great supplies…dishes, pans, a can opener etc. Our stay was perfect…just what we were looking for :)
Easy check in, clear information from owner. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful location with a great view off the deck! Very quiet and comfortable.
The property is lovely with a beautiful view of the sunrise. Be warned - there is a rooster, but it doesn't take long to get used to him. An overall good place to stay when visiting friends!

Really a great home has everything you need. We were at a wedding weekend so basically just slept there and changed clothes. It was a raw rainy weekend but the house with grand fire was coming cozy. As previous people have mentioned the living room furniture is a little beyond dated but comfy. Bedrooms spacious, beds comfortable. I would go back

Comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Great location and owner was very responsive to questions.
Exactly what we wanted - beautiful location; clean, quiet, spacious house with all conveniences. Close enough to the small town but far enough to enjoy the quiet Vermont experience. Owner was helpful and responsive.

Perfect cabin!
This cabin was perfect! The quiet, woods setting and amazing views was exactly what we were looking for during our vacation! We loved how it was only 15 minutes away from the cute towns and shops, but also only minutes away from great hiking! Brian was also very nice and had everything we needed! I highly recommend using the grill when you stay because you'll love cooking dinner looking at the summits of the Green Mountains in the back yard :)

Very comfortable space in a quiet spot that is close to many places and activities we love
This was our 7th year staying here. We always find it convenient, quiet, nice setting. Plenty of room for guests or family and to entertain.
Owner lives in separate on property, very nice person, never intrudes but always available if a problem arises.

Peaceful Open Bright Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is a short drive to Manchester with all of its shopping outlets and restaurants. We spend school vacation week skiing Stratton which was a short pretty 30 minute drive. The cabin has everything you might need from coffee makers to pots and pans, washer dryer, cable television, and wifi. With its three bedrooms, two baths, and a loft, the cabin can comfortably accommodate two families with kids. Brian was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would enthusiastically recommend the cabin to anyone. We had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime!

Great, well appointed property in beautiful setting.
The log cabin is spacious, airy and filled with light but in a hot July well equipped with AC and fans.
This was within three miles of the wedding we attended so very convenient yet tucked away in a pastoral setting.
We had two babies with us so the kitchen and well working appliances were very helpful.
Over all this was a great place to stay in a lovely town in Vermont.

Nice home
nice home. nothing special. good fore it price. do not take upstairs bedroom if you have a little child with you because it really colder than other rooms. also owner leaves in neighbor home (can see it on a pictures) and be ready if he can come to you without call or any notice. just because he need something in rented home.
he is nice guy but it could be "surprise" like it was for my wife when she left alone with a child (all of us been at killington slopes) at home and unknown men came for something.
all other is ok. we got some problems with a showers , Brian fix it really fast. Thanks. Dmitry

Exceeded all our expectations!! Wonderful family retreat from a gracious host!
The owner Brian, truly thought of everything with this property and to make our Christmas trip memorable. From the process of booking(which for us started in August) to the "exactly as represented" pictures and other reviews posted; we would highly recommend this chalet to anyone. Brain had a Christmas tree waiting for our arrival and every amenity we could ask for. Although we had originally booked the location hoping for ski weather, there was plenty to occupy us in the neighboring towns (Manchester/Bennington- a short drive away) and on the property when Mother Nature failed to cooperate. There would be little that we could criticize on this property with the small exception of 'man-grade' lighting in the bathrooms that the 20- something girls in our group thought difficult to primp under-lol. All in all a very pleasurable and wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again- no matter what the weather!!

Great house & superb service provided by the owner
I would like to thank the owner, Brian, for letting us rent his wonderful house! He gave us a very good deal on a very last minute reservation. The house is excellent to sleep up to 10 people, including couches. Rooms and bathrooms are well-kept. The house is very warm, especially in the common area.. thanks to the fireplace. The rooms are a bit cooler, but layers of blankets were provided so it did the job. It also has a Direct TV connection that kept us entertained at nights after a long day on the slopes. It's about 30 mins away from Stratton, which is not bad at all.
The best part of it all was that Brian was very accommodating. I called him up a few times during our stay to ask a couple of things and he was very nice and kind!
My group and I would definitely come back here!
