Underwhelmed

I paid for a house father away from the Orlando resorts as it had its own privscy pool. I had to pay extra $177 for the pool to be heated. Day 1 I mentioned the pool was freezing, after many texts and phone calls someone came out to look at it and did not address the problem nor speak to us if it was working or not. Additionally 1 of the bunk beds were so unstable I had my youngest stay in our bed. All the beds/pillows are old and uncomfortable. The house looks OK, but rent another property for a little more $ for a better experience. It nearly ruined our vacation...nearly, we still had loads of fun at the area attractions.

Nice place...needs a few fixes

My wife and I stayed at the property for a week while we were in Florida to watch our daughter's college softball team compete in a local tournament. The location was great...nice and quiet and very easy to go for walks in a safe neighborhood. There was even a decent local restaurant / bar called Hurricane Grill and Wings that was a quick drive away that was perfect for having some bar food and drinks while watching March Madness. Here's what we liked: 1. The house was easy to find / easy to get into. 2. The house was quite spacious, especially for just the two of us. 3. The kitchen was nice sized and allowed us to make breakfast and lunch on a daily basis which saved some money on eating out. 4. It was great to have laundry in the house, which worked well. 5. It was great to have a dedicated parking spot. Here's what didn't quite go as expected: 1. The internet had really low bandwidth which fluctuated throughout the day, likely due to being a shared connection. I worked part time during the week and had issues from time to time with screen sharing and video calls. 2. The Roku TV was not easy to use and, given the internet constraints, didn't function super well. 3. The toilet in the downstairs bathroom made odd squealing noises from time to time, including through the night. 4. The drapes in the master bedroom wouldn't shut all the way due to having been damaged and repaired in such a way that the drapes wouldn't stretch to the full end of the rod. All in all, the trip was great and we enjoyed the place. Just needs a few things to be addressed.
