This shocking negative review is completely unwarranted. First of all, checking in instructions were sent in detail 24 hours prior to checking in. There was heavy rainfall as is often the case in central Florida this season which had caused the pool to go suddenly greenish, and this was immediately communicated to the pool maintenance company for attention by me. I had also responded to the guest about her complaints, and she seemed to accept my response. She then suddenly started to complain about the furniture (one single bed frame out of 4 such beds in the 2 twin bedrooms). This is despite the fact that they were supposed to check in with 2 kids and not more. I had also acknowledged her email and responded that I was not charging her for any kind of damage etc. She didn't communicate her intentions and suddenly claimed to move to an alternative home without even giving me any warning. One can easily check that I had no such issues with previous guests.

It is outrageous to suggest any snakes in the home. Our cleaners who live in the subdivision and do a fantastic job cleaning the home went & checked for any evidence of snakes. That has never happened since the home was bult and occupied. I allowed this person to check in extra early without charging for an extra day that would normally happen. This was a measure of goodwill. Any basic damage that is caused like one of the 4 dining chairs and a broken insect screen happened during very recent stays and have been fixed and cups and utensils routinely go missing or are broken and are replaced as necessary.

First of all this is a very clean home that basically undergoes a deep cleaning every time somebody stays even for only 3 days. My home is not a resort and is a very well maintained private home. The grass is cut on a weekly basis during the summer months and has never grown to that height before cutting. The pool was affected owing to the very frequent thunderstorms and attended to by the pool company at extra cost. The few marks at the bottom are normal wear and no indication of dirt at all. Our AC system is brand new and comes with a Google Nest thermostat that is not meant to be played with and set to pre-set zones depending on the time of day. However one can always lower or raise the temperature if needed. Everyone is encouraged to use the ceiling fans if they want the cold air to be circulated and certainly every one of the 4 ceiling fans work fine. We have received very good reviews in the vast majority of cases and so am shocked to get this kind of review from someone who would have perhaps be better suited to staying in a major resort.

This is outrageous and this guest's review has been lifted and copied largely from a previous fabricated illegal review provided by a person who never even stayed, let alone entered my home. That appalling fraudulent review was challenged by VRBO after I had provided lots of evidence to the contrary and removed. It seems that this current guest has almost copied that and provided lots of fabrication to try and stay very cheaply. I have photos of our fully maintained/cleaned pool, all the cleaning of the property by our housekeeping company, and most of the ridiculous claims made by this guest. For anyone's information this property was custom-built in 1992 and not in the 1970s. The lights don't stay on all the time, obviously when there are no guests staying, the interior lights are not going to stay on 24x7. There are motion detector lights on the front of the home which provide sufficient light if entering the home at nighttime. The over-the-range microwave handle had been broken previously and was replaced by a new full function countertop microwave. The house carpet was professionally deep cleaned 6 months ago, and the color is certainly not PINK. There are multiple sheets, many towels and linens in the closet next to the twin bedrooms. There is no broken glass on the patio leading to the pool, obviously there are signs for clarification to make life simpler for guests, example which days to put the trash out for weekly stays etc. The pool is very well maintained and the day they arrived there had been a major storm causing some trees to go down (although not ours). The pool table and umbrella had fallen into the pool and was put back on the pool deck the next day by our maintenance people. I responded to this immediately via the VRBO site to the guest, so it's astonishing to have this as a criticism. The beds are in perfect condition and not old and damaged. The bathrooms have absolutely no mold and are extremely well maintained and strongly lit with LED lights. The neighborhood is an attractive peaceful subdivision and very safe. The development was built from 1992 onwards so it is not old and dark. These guests did not stay only 1 night as mentioned, and certainly never mentioned anything during their stay, apart from the storm which had caused the pool table to blow over into the pool and which was promptly attended. I have photos of everything that was fabricated, including detailed weekly reports from the pool company.

This is the worst fabrication of the facts: * I don't advertise that degree certificates are required of guests staying in my home. I just expect guests to be decent and honest. This family stayed with 4 children which normally isn't the case, and naturally an owner would be concerned and cautious. Where do I start to address the barrage of lies in this review. *First of all, it states clearly in bold print the patio doors from the living room should never be used to access the pool and the master bathroom access to the pool should only be used. This is because the patio doors were damaged a few years ago and cost a lot of money to replace. *Absolutely no fallen patio blinds were replaced, and instead the full blinds had gone from a complete set to 7 missing blinds. Blinds don't just fall off when trying to open them. After all, there have never been any such complaints. * I never sent any message to the guest and accused her of "ransacking" the property as she puts it. *Again, I never wrote that the guest soiled the carpets. In fact, all guests receive a polite reminder not to spill beverages, such as Coke etc. as they would cause deep stains that couldn't be easily removed even by deep spot cleaning. *The walk-in-closet obviously has a door but as it had a damaged hinge it had to be fixed during the stay. * Both toilets worked, and work fine as should do. *There are a set of chairs with table and parasol on the pool deck and I never advertised or claimed to have additional loungers on the pool deck. They have certainly not purchased; any lounge chairs that are in our home and I don't believe anybody in the 21st century is lying on the cement of a wonderful pool deck such as ours. *As far as the walk-in-closet is concerned. This person literally dumped a lot of stuff that were kept in the walk-in-closet that belong to us and scattered them outside on the master bedroom carpet. Our cleaner is one of the best and she has never complained of anything like this in over 2 years with her. * It appears that there are unfortunately some people like these who don't like paying for what they purchase and are willing to go to any length to fabricate and lie like this. There are plenty of top-rated reviews for this home so one can reach their own conclusions.

Actually our home was occupied the entire month of December and early January so it certainly had not been locked up for any extended period. Also a lot of extensive work had been done and a thorough deep cleaning 10 days before these 7 guests arrived with many photos of each room to confirm. Also there certainly could not have been any animal droppings of any kind.
