Our stay at Pete and Angie's cabin was nothing short of amazing! Great location, the peace of being out of town but very easy short drive to Bozeman. Beautiful, well kept property! The cabin was very comfortable for our family's stay. Pete and Angie were great hosts, going above and beyond! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bozeman!
We had a wonderful time staying at Pete and Angie's cabin! The property is beautiful and they made us feel like welcomed guests. The location is ideal for easy access to Bozeman as well as Bridger mountain. There are multiple hiking trails on their property where you can enjoy the beauty of the ranch. We would definitely choose to stay here again on another trip to Montana!
Very nice finished and lots of thought went into seating options both in and out. KitchenlWalking trails and hiking. Pretty horses in the field and close to Dowtown Bozeman. Serene and peaceful setting!
The property was everything and more that we expected. Angie and Pete went out of their way to make this a great stay. I will be back with my with my wife. She will love it.

Pete and Angie went above and beyond! We arrived to freshly baked brownies with many breakfast essentials stocked in the kitchen. The property is just perfect, lots of wildlife too! We look forward to another stay the next time we visit Bozeman. Well done, 10 out of 10 stars!
We could not have asked for better accommodations. Drinking Horse Ranch is nestled in the middle of the mountains, wildlife, beautiful streams and Pete and Angie were five star hosts! The location was ideal as we were surrounded by mountains yet such a very easy drive to downtown Bozeman! It was also a very easy drive to see tour Yellowstone. From their ranch to Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, the geyser’s, the upper and lower falls at Yellowstone, Chico Springs, Big Sky was all a very easy scenic drive. We would highly recommend their beautiful place. It was clean, had everything we needed and felt like Pete and Angie treated us like family!
This property was perfect and our hosts were the best!! When we checked in we were met with smiling faces and fresh baked brownies! The fridge had been stocked with a few goodies and the cabin smelled amazing. Angie gave us a quick tour around the cabin and pointed out the walking/hiking trails. Peter took time out of his afternoon to show us the most beautiful spots on the property which was one of the highlights of our vacation! The walking trails were fabulous and we used them everyday. The cabin was only about a 10 min drive to town even though it felt remote. I hope to someday be able to stay here again!
This is my second time visiting DHR and the cabin and I couldn’t wait to return. Angie and Pete are welcoming and always available at a moment’s and their property is pristine. The cabin is the perfect getaway from my normal busy city life in California and I am already hoping to make another trip soon. The cozy cabin with complete amenities made me feel like I was home. Nestled against the big rolling hills and beautiful skies of Montana, this cabin is close enough to the city (5-10 minute drive) but far enough to feel close to the wilderness. 5 stars aren’t enough.. if you want to get away from the busy everyday monotony this is the perfect escape to take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy some soul searching or make memories with your loved ones.
Myself my daughter and my mother stayed at this beautiful cabin while on vacation. Angie and Pete were awesome from the day of booking all the way through our check out date. Angie baked fresh brownies and the cabin smelled so wonderful when we arrived. We actually arrived in the area before standard check in time and we were welcomed early so we didn’t have to just waste time.
Pete and Angie have one of the most beautiful properties. The pictures of this beautiful cabin does not do it justice. I would recommend the cabin to anyone that is looking for a gorgeous cabin and property. We could step outside our door and everywhere you looked was beautiful views. We were give a tour of the property and it was breathtaking. Angie and Pete have lots of hiking trails on their property. They made sure to we were welcomed and checked on us repeatedly to make sure we had everything we could need. Angie even supplied us with bear spray for our hikes and when the weather got a little rough one night she made sure we were prepared for anything that may come.
The cabin was supplied with everything that we could have possibly needed to make our stay comfortable. I am currently trying to convince my husband to vacation in the same area and I WILL be booking one of Pete and Angie’s cabins.
THANK YOU!!
Great stay, location was super convenient to Bozeman and surrounding destinations. Property had all the things to make life easy during our stay and many nic
I did not get a chance to stay at the lodge, but I am happy to right a review based on what I heard from my family. They had a wonderful time! I heard a lot about the great pancake mix and beautiful views from my husband and the friendly horses and abundant bird watching on the property from my dad - truly something for everyone! Thanks for providing such a nice home-base for their stay while they got our son settled in college.
This property is in a beautiful setting and convenient to town and activities. We truly enjoyed our stay The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. We really appreciated the scenic property, its quiet location, and wonderful accommodations. The home was spotless and well supplied. Farm fresh eggs providedwere a real nice touch!!
Just what we needed to have our own space while visiting family. And in a beautiful location, with exceptional care from the hosts. Our daughter LOVED visiting the horses and chickens and Angie even gave us carrots to feed the horses, which was great fun. We will definitely stay again!
The cabin is very nice. Stylish and in a perfect spot relative to Bozeman and Bridger Bowl. My only complaint and it is small, is that the listing says there is a hot tub, but it no longer exists. Overall 5 star.
The property is better than we imagined. Cozy feel but spacious. I was with my 93 yo dad and he loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching football. He also loved the opportunity to go for a short but Besutiful walk every day. I saw 3 elk one morning! Fed the horses. Bozeman is close by yet it felt like we were in the country
Absolute gorgeous property and location! It could not have been more perfect for our stay in Bozeman. Owners are super friendly and helpful and clearly love the area. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed plus some very thoughtful touches. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Thank you Angie &Pete!
We had such an amazing stay at the cabin at Drinking Horse Ranch. Angie and Pete are phenomenal hosts and so friendly and kind! The cabin has beautiful views and it was wonderful to see the horses graze right outside our window. We arrived to a warm pan of brownies, fresh eggs from their chickens, yogurts, beer/wine and so many other little touches! We made Angie's delicious pancake recipe twice that week - all ingredients in the cupboard.
Our son had a ton of fun riding the horse around the corral with Pete's granddaughter. I did too! :) The ranch is beautiful and they have plenty of trails to walk around the property, along the creek, and even up the mountain. It's just such a serene and relaxing place to be!
The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you'd need plus! They had random things many rental properties don't provide that come in handy - Q-tips and laundry detergent, paper plates and coffee, bear spray and mosquito repellent! I could go on and on...LOL.
Angie also made it so easy to be there with our 10 month old baby! Not only did she provide a pack-n-play but she brought over other baby items (walker, playmat, toys, bath sling) that they had from when the grandkids were babies. It was so helpful to have those extra things to use.
We had such a wonderful stay and, without a doubt, will stay at Drinking Horse Ranch with Angie and Pete when we return to Bozeman!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was peaceful with lots of walking trails and a creek steps away from the cabin. It was a perfect location for us to see other parts of Montana. The owners are wonderful, very hospitable and available, made check in & out a breeze. The cabin was great and inviting, thanks to Angie’s thoughtfulness and personal touches. Highly recommend and we definitely plan to return!
Our stay at Drinking Water Ranch was far beyond anything we could imagine. Pete & Angie are first class host! The ranch home that we rented was so cozy. It was very well equipped with anything we needed and was top notch. We highly recommend you check it out for your visit to Bozeman. The location is nestled in the valley with beautiful views all around. We will definitely be back. Thank you Pete & Angie for your hospitality!
This is a beautiful, well equipped cabin in a lovely spot. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

About the host
Hosted by Peter and Angela Serino
Peter and Angela Serino are the owners/managers of Drinking Horse Ranch. They take pride in maintaining a well manicured ranch property that has hiking/horse riding scenic trails in the mountains and relaxing walking trails along the creek which are all on the 260 acre ranch. Pete is originally from Upstate New York and was overjoyed to buy the ranch property in 1996 after spending 25 years in Phoenix. The 4 season climate fits his lifestyle much better than the stifling heat in Phoenix. Pete enjoys horse riding, fishing, golfing and is quite the shark on the pool table. He is very industrious when is comes to using logs from the property to build many of the buildings on the ranch. Angie was born and raised in the Bozeman area. Being a true local resident is a rare commodity these days. She is an Army Veteran and served in the Desert Storm war. She hikes and/or walks the ranch property daily. It brings great joy to her to see the wildlife roaming around the property and even more joy to collect photos of these moments. Her second favorite thing to do is take photos of Drinking Horse Mountain which is literally in our backyard. Pete and Angie both like to travel and have enjoyed going to Italy, Portugal, Bahamas and Panama . They also enjoy traveling to visit their children (his and hers) which take them to Seattle, San Diego and Austin.
They are looking forward to hosting VRBO guests and sharing the experiences of this amazing property!
Why they chose this property

Hearing a babbling creek as you fall asleep. Many have said sleeping in our cabin was the best sleep they have ever had.
