About this property

Beach Access - Bainbridge Island - Poulsbo - Water Views - NEW Decks

Escape to Agate Pass Retreat enjoy water views and beach access 2 minute walk to the beach for a stroll on a sandy beach. Great for couples or families and dog friendly. From the deck relax and watch marine traffic pass through the very active Agate Pass waterway between Suquamish and Bainbridge Island (depending on time of year trees in front of deck may block view). Soak up a walk on the beach finding sea-glass and seashells while looking for otters and eagles. Short drive to Poulsbo and Downtown Bainbridge Island. Drive 15 minutes from either Kingston Ferry or Bainbridge Ferry (Seattle day trip). One way to kickoff your stay is by relishing locally caught seafood and shellfish by visiting local seafood purveyors (list of local businesses at the house). The kitchen is completely equipped to cook a gourmet meal for friends and family. Kids will love the back yard with a new Play Set / Swing Set with a circular slide. Part of our yard includes the small woods behind the swing set and at times there is a tiny creek great for kids who like to explore (please supervise children). We provide Beach Toys to take to Old Man House Park.

2 NEW DECKS - there is deck off the living room with Adirondack chairs and a gas fire pit table and ALSO a large back deck with a Grill and stairs to the back yard. Large back yard with play set / swing set (UNFENCED yard).

This charming house was originally designed as a Parsonage in 1963 still with its original wood floors. My favorite roof is the Sun Room! I love having coffee and wathcing stunning sunrises. We look South over Agate Pass towards Bainbridge Island. Lots of windows / sky lights make this feel very bright and open.

**PLEASE NOTE** DOWNSTAIRS APARTMENT** : The downstairs is a separate apartment and not included with the rental. There is no guest access to the walk-out basement, or the garage.

BACK YARD ACCESS: Please access the backyard by going down the stairs from back deck or alternatively around the garage (between the sport court and the garage) through the side yard to the backyard. The patio for the walk out basement is for the downstairs apartment. Please note the yard is NOT fenced, please watch children and animals at all times. Playground / swing set in back yard.

Full size kitchen with all the necessities for a great home cooked meal. Cleanliness is a top priority, providing you with fresh hotel quality linens. Free Wi-Fi.

Cable TV in the living room. TVs in living room and 2 bedrooms are smart TVs and you can login to your Netflix or other streaming account.

BEACH ACCESS: We are steps away from Old Man House Park, a public SANDY beach and park with a fire pit, grill, and grassy area. A great place to launch your kayak. Enjoy one of the few sandy beaches in the area and watch your kiddos make sandcastles. Walk North on the beach towards Suquamish Dock grab a burger at Sully's or groceries at the local market

Every effort has been made to create a welcoming and comfortable space for guests, with an eye for design that both looks and feels good. Please do keep in mind, however, having said that, this is an old house with quirks and some patina.

Wonderful property for multi-generational family.
Granddaughters, ages 7 and 9, really enjoyed reading in the sun room and playing at nearby Suquamish Park. Property is large, yet cozy, so all seven of us were able to have our own space. We were in the area for a family wedding. If we make it back, we would definitely stay again.

This is our second time at this property, and we’ve loved both of our visits. The house is perfect for a family getaway and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. We look forward to making this a regular trip! Thank you!

Great place great location
We rented this place for my son's 18th birthday. We had a blast going down to the beach. Also Poulsbo and Silverdale are pretty close which is great places to have fun and eat. Also the casino was close which is also nice.

My sister and mom live in WA, and I live in AZ. We have teamed up to host this property and love having people feel welcomed and relaxed.

Why they chose this property

**PLEASE NOTE**: There is a downstairs apartment. The Vacation Rental is the main level of the home, it is completely separated and private from the basement apartment.
So close to Ferries. You are literally looking at Bainbridge Island. And Old Man House park has a sand beach (very rare in this area), less than 600 feet away. Also close to Clear Water Casino and all of the lovely shops and delicious restaurants in Winslow (downtown Bainbridge Island). Poulsbo and Central Market are just minutes away. Poulsbo has a delightful Norwegian Village vibe with bakeries and Viking Festivals.

What makes this property unique

Sandy Beach (rare for this part of Washington). Our house is less than 600 feet from the beach at Old Man House Park. Great place for kids to play and build sand castles. Great beach for for long walks in either direction. Great for dog walking. (Tides may affect how much beach is accessible).
***Wedding Venues Nearby****:
Kiana Lodge - less than a mile from Kiana Lodge a waterfront wedding and event venue with 6 acres of tall firs, fragrant cedars and beautiful grounds. Along with 1000 feet of no bank waterfront.
Heronswood Garden - a beautiful Botanical Garden and great wedding venue.
****Other Wedding Venues Nearby****: Kiana Lodge, Heronswood Garden, Kingston House, Red Cedar Farms, Molly Ward Bistro and Gardens, Raspberry Ridge Farm, Kitsap Memorial Log Hall Heritage Area, Hood Canal Vista Pavilion. The Manor House at Pleasant Beach Village.
