The property was absolutely wonderful for a family wedding weekend! We were able to host our family and close friends under one roof, with everyone having their own rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to entertain our large group with multiple dishwashers and fridges, every utensil and cooking device you would need. Everyone young and old was entertained - fire pit, games, pool table, ping pong, beautiful outdoor gathering spaces, views of the lake, trails, sports equipment, play spaces and so much more! The first floor bedroom was perfect for our guests with limited mobility. The owner was always prompt in answering questions. Information about the rental was clearly communicated throughout the entire process. All in all it was an outstanding experience!

Definitely the most I have had to do before renting a place, but the place was excellent for what we needed it for and it accommodated 4 families perfectly for a sports tournament weekend.

Fantastic space for large family. We had 19 family members stay for the weekend to celebrate a 60th bday. This clean home had plenty of room for all to eat, relax, play and sleep. The weather allowed us to enjoy the great outdoor space this place has to offer! We even saw deer on our walk on the trails. Host were great communicators and would def stay here again!

Ted (the host) was very pleasant to work with! Everything was a very good experience. The house was very well put together, and it felt extremely welcoming. We had all amenities that we needed, and ended up having a great time at the place. It's also very close to the town, and you can get any groceries for your stay within a 3 minute drive from the house. If given the opportunity, would definitely stay again!

The hosts were very accommodating. They clearly have done this before and were very professional. The house was in great condition and we had everything we could possibly need.Natural Gas grill and the firepit were huge hits on our weekend. I would highly recommend this location and our group of 18 will definitely be looking at doing it here again next year.

Great gathering place for family

The house met all our needs as a large family! There was plenty to do especially on the property and plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had.

Ted was outstanding to work with during the entire process leading up to and during the stay. Loved the home overlooking Stone Lake, but at the same time being secluded and private. All 12 of us (6 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. 47 acres of trails and open spaces to spend time on and explore. Kitchen was well stocked. Great game room and outdoor decks. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place in tho part of the country.

Beautiful getaway

Very happy with the stay, everything was clean , exterior needs a little refreshing, plenty of room for the whole family, awesome view of the lake. I can only imagine the fun you’d have in the summer with all the kayaking and pontoon boat, we rented the end of February

Outstanding property for families

Our extended family - including 12 adults and 11 children of all ages - enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Woodland Lodge! The property had plenty of room and things to do for everybody! The sand beach was the highlight. The kitchen is large enough for a crowd to work together on meals, and we ate most night on the outside patio, which is shaded enough that it was comfortable even on our hottest days. Everyone loved the boat rides and every child caught a fish! One of our best vacations ever!

Great Family Vacation

We had a family reunion of 17 people. There was something for every age group. We loved the beach area for the kids and renting the pontoon boat was such fun. There was enough room for everyone and having 8 bathrooms was wonderful! We particularly loved the big playing field in the woods, it was a magical spot with a shed full of games and balls and frisbees. We rent a cottage every year and several family members said this was their favorite cottage to date.

Had a great time at Woodlands Lodge. Pontoon boat is a must to enjoy the peaceful small lake. Made use of the gas grill, the smoker and the fire pit. Getting my son’s wheelchair up to the fire pit was challenging and took three strong adults, we were able to get him to the lake by driving him down to the lakeside road. Our granddaughter loved to hang out by the swing set, Kitchen was very well equipped with all necessary appliances as well as dishware and utensils!
