We had a great time on our vacation. We would highly recommend Knotty Pine lodge to our friends! Add the boating package, you won’t be disappointed. The large deck and fire pit area were probably the favorite spots for our group of 16. Locally we enjoyed our donuts from Diamond donuts, pizza from Holden Green Tavern and meal at Cassopolis Brewery! We also cooked many evening meals in the kitchen at the house.

Everything exceeded our expectations, from the exceptional cleanliness to the thoughtful amenities provided for guests of all ages.The property offers something for everyone, both indoors and outdoors. We especially enjoyed the lovely lake view and appreciated the variety of activities available, including fishing, a game room, swings, and a basketball hoop. There was never a shortage of ways for our family to spend time together and make lasting memories.One detail that deserves special recognition is the exceptional thoughtfulness given to accessibility, both inside and outside the property. This consideration made a tremendous difference and helped make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.Ted and the Gogol family were outstanding hosts. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was cooler than normal. Enjoyed the entire property and water package. Plenty for kids of all ages to do! The fireworks over the lake on Friday evening was an added bonus!

Great Stay!

Our family had a great time at this lodge for a few nights leading up to Thanksgiving 2023. The outdoor playing fields and trails were a blast and the indoor game room kept us occupied when it rained. With 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms there was plenty of space for our entire extended family to enjoy some time together under one roof. Would look forward to staying here again and working with these owners.

This lodge comfortably held our group of 22! We had a great time together enjoying the fire pit, playing games around the large table, and the game room! We appreciated the beautiful setting of this lodge and the ease in communication with the property manager!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay at Knotty Pine Lodge. There were 20 of us for a family get together and there was plenty of room for us to all be comfortable. The lodge is big but somehow still feels cozy. Communication with the owners was great and quick. We hope to do another family stay there someday.

Amazing house, all the space we needed! Loved we were at the end of the road, it made the property feel more private! Game room was a huge hit with the teens & loved the sunset pontoon rides around the lake!

Great Family Weekend

This property was amazing!! Clean and spacious, kitchen supplies were plentiful!! Plenty of towels. Loved that all bedrooms had bathrooms. Communication was very efficient!! We will visit again!!!

Best Lodge Stay Ever!

Knotty Pine Lodge is the perfect location for a large group. Very well stocked to the smallest details. SO MANY amazing places to sit and relax, activities to do, and comfortable rooms and suites. Beds are super comfortable too! Kitchen was perfect and that's saying a lot! We hope to stay again sometime soon. 💙💙💙💙💙

Family get away

The house was perfect for our large family. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Numerous bedrooms and bathrooms was a big hit. Comfortable beds. Kitchen and appliances were wonderful. Large tables to eat together was great. Loved the gazebo and fire pit.

Perfect for our very large family

It’s hard to find a nice, affordable place that can accommodate my large family. This is the best I have found. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and things to do for all ages. We will be back.

Great weekend!

This was our first annual sibling and families gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do. The teens and adults loved the game room and we had our own pool tournament which was super fun. The kitchen was just the right size and having the extra full sized fridge in the game room was great. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here - there was plenty of room and activities for everyone (16 of us, including adults, teens, and kids!) and the homeowner supplied us with just about everything we needed. Great views and quiet area with ample parking. It's not a far drive to Swiss Valley at all and we were able to get some skiing in while we were there. The fire pit / gazebo was a very nice feature as well and the game room was a big hit with everyone. We would definitely stay here again.

Pristine and Peaceful Property

This is a beautiful, well constructed lake home with everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. The children loved the sandy beach, the play space and the game room in the house. The house was well furnished and in great condition. We loved the large spacious deck where we could all enjoy our meals together. All appliances and electronics worked perfectly. We would definitely chose this vacation spot again.

A Bathroom for Every Bedroom!

Plus a very large game room with 5 leather sofas and a couple of bistro tables that let everyone hang out - comfortably - in one space. We played lots of pool, ping pong, even foosball. House was very clean and well appointed!
