Perfect Smokey Mountain Getaway

Communication was outstanding, pricing was more than fair, location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge… The view of the mountains from the porch and the hot tub were epic. Very clean, well stocked, bug free considering the middle of the woods. They own several properties, and we’ll be back. Thank you again.

Exceptional Hospitality

Gorgeous view of the mountain made a very pleasant stay, but hands down what made this trip even better was the wonderful hospitality provided by the owners. Sent us very clear instructions on check in and check out and even sent a quick note while we were there to make sure everything was going well. Showed how much they truly cared about our experience.

Spring Trip 2023

My sisters and I took my mother to see the mountains for the first time. We all had a fabulous time! The cabin was wonderful. The driveway was very, very steep! We made it with no problems in good weather, but I don’t know that I would have made it in snow or ice. The views were worth it, completely fantastic!

Beautiful views but Construction was too Close.

We Loved the cabin, extremely gorgeous views and a cabin that you would only dream of if you are wanting an incredible view. The owners were very attentive to any of our questions, my only wish is that I would have know just how close the construction was prior to paying as much as I did to book, approximately 15ft from the front door. So If you and your family are looking for a quiet getaway, right now while the construction is going on it is anything but. Often times being blocked in by construction vehicles. But again, the owner tried his very best to make sure the crew stayed out of our way.

We chose this rental for the view, hot tub, being somewhat isolated, and its cozy cabin feel. It had everything we needed. Only negative was the slimy hot tub, a huge reason we chose this cabin over others was for the hot tub. From Google AI: "A hot tub should not feel slimy; a slimy or slippery feeling indicates a buildup of biofilm. Biofilm is a film of bacteria, algae, and other contaminants that can form in the hot tub's water and on its surfaces, often due to low sanitizer levels. To fix this, you should shock the water, clean or replace the hot tub filter, and potentially drain, clean, and refill the tub to eliminate the biofilm and prevent future buildup."

Awesome Tennessee vacation!

We can start by saying what an awesome vacation we had at the property! David and Denise’s property is amazing, beautiful, scenic, clean, and well stocked with everything you may need! Just everything was perfect inside and out. The location is IN the mountains and it was so fun to go trekking to the location. The view on the ad doesn’t do it justice as it’s BEAUTIFUL! The air is cleaner, the breeze is great and the wildlife is cool. We had a bear come by within 5 feet of us, deer, baby turkeys and a lizard to view. Many days we spent sitting out in the rocking chairs or playing connect 4 at the table. This is the place to unplug from the electronics and just take a break. Don’t get me wrong there is central air, fans, TV with Roku and a fully stocked kitchen but to turn off the phones and watch the trees sway is what it’s all about. You are really only about 15 minutes from the main drag but it feels like a whole other state! We lost power the one evening during a massive storm so remember power controls the lights , the water and the sewer so be prepared. David and Denise had flashlights delivered to us late at night due to the power outage that lasted a little while which was so nice. In the future I’ll be more prepared when we stay again with my Boy Scout knowledge on what to bring along. The grill is charcoal so bring some with you to grill. We just can’t say enough about how much fun we had as a family. Definitively will be back and I’d give it 10 stars!!

Gorgeous views, quaint quiet cabin & convenient to local activities

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely cabin on the mountain with incredible back porch views. It was well appointed, comfortable and most importantly, clean. We enjoyed eating our meals on the back porch overlooking the most beautiful views of the mountains. This cabin is convenient to many local attractions: Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, Townsend, Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge, etc. We appreciated the incredible communication with our host—very informative, kind and helpful. We highly recommend this quiet little spot on the mountain to enjoy the view but be close to it all. Thanks for a most fabulous stay!

GREAT VIEW but the inside of the cabin not so great

The best part of the cabin was the porch and view. The Loft bed/bedroom was horrible. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and due to the placement of the bed you have to crawl into bed due to the bed being placed so close to the A frame ceiling. Upstairs shower leaked so you constantly hear water dripping, upstairs TV ROKU wouldnt work, just kept saying updating. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. I rent cabins in the area every year. This is definitely not a cabin I would rent again.

Cabin Get Away

Excellent property! My family and I had a great time together and the property was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. When we arrived there was a power outage and the host (David and Denise) were fast to respond and reach out to the local power company and very promptly get back with us. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away for a couple days in the mountains of eastern Tennessee.
