Nice, meant more for big groups, not couples

This place was beautiful and the owners did an amazing job remodeling this place. They also stayed true to the wildlife residing around this little piece of heaven. My husband and I stayed for the weekend and it wasn’t what I was expecting based on the listing. We stayed in a room that felt like a basement. The shower was nice except it wouldn’t drain right so water would over flow into the bathroom. There was absolutely no service at all. Even connected to the Wi-Fi you were lucky if you were able to connect to google. There was an option to have breakfast and dinner catered to us but we decline due to the expense. Bad decision! There isn’t a place to eat good food for 20 mins in batesville. You could hear everything going on in the suite we shared a wall with. Hot water was very hot and endless, and the interior of the love nest suite was absolutely gorgeous. We took a tour to see the other two suites which were for more of a big group and they were breathtaking. The detail they put into this place has resulted in a breathtaking venue hidden just in the right place to suit the vision of Bluebird Estate.

You were both awesome guests. We apologize about the Wifi. WE have never had an issue in that suite and can only guess it was the thunder storm that knocked it out. We saw right after you left that it wasn't working and reset it. The drain will be repaired tomorrow-So sorry. And we will see what we can do to sound proof the room better. I am glad that you enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub and found everything on the property beautifully. It truly is a piece of heaven. I hope you try us again. Laura
