THUNDERDOME (awesome Dome House) Unique home with Beautiful views/Comfy and Cozy

Unique Dome House Located in an Airpark! Corner Lot with a beautiful view of the mountains and the runway !! It’s a great cozy feel with super comfy couches in the main living room area (my favorite place) and a fun place to stay.
You can enjoy the jukebox with the records /blue tooth or CD’s that are there- you will often see hot air balloons as well.

You will enjoy the King size bed in the Master with a full size bathroom - Queen size bed and a full size bed in 3rd room

Fun board games to play
Regular size 80’s Galaga game plus PacMan and many others. No quarters required!

There is WiFi / Netflix/ Hulu/ full cable


Great place for an event/ bridal/Baby shower/Birthday or any event you so choose. Plenty of parking on the 2 1/2 plus acres the ThunderDome is on. With Host permission for any event.

Perfect Getaway

This was perfect for our family. Hosts were wonderful and even checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. They also had a pack and play available. We will be back!

So Great!

Everyone loved staying here, kids and adults alike! It was cool being by the airstrip and watching the planes. The house was exactly how it was described, and a fun place to stay. Would stay there again.

Relaxing getaway

Had a great stay at the Thunder dome- out of the city/quiet/able to see planes flying and hot air balloons. Host friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again on our next visit.

Excellent and Unique Location for a Denver Trip

The Atari machine was a hit with the family, we also had the treat of seeing some WWII era planes take off from the small airstrip behind the house. A very unique VRBO experience that you will enjoy and not soon forget

Love the place and area. Was conveniently located to the items we wanted to do in Denver and northward. No issues, Tammy was a great host and we will definitely stay again when in Denver.

Enjoyable stay

Fun home with beautiful views. Centrally located for hiking, shopping, and food. Comfortable sleeping (talk to the owner for mobility issues) and fully stocked linens and kitchen. Very clean. We loved the game table and large screen TV. Thank you for a great home away from home!

Family vacation and softball

We had a wonderful stay Tammy an her husband were great. Very nice place had everything we needed. Enjoyed using the smoker an outside fire place. Would definitely rent again. Why husband an I with my son and his wife and 2 teenage daughters all loved the place. Thanks again Tammy.

We needed a place to stay while our new home was being built. It was a perfect location and the owners were so generous in letting our dogs stay with us as well!

Thunderdome for the win!

Our stay was great. The house was clean, casual, and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and private. Host was prompt and effective with communication throughout the process from reservation to check in. Pictures matched reality. All good.

Cozy little place in quiet neighborhood

This unique house is in a quaint neighborhood. It is a aviation neighborhood, so has a few planes going in and out which the kids enjoyed watching. House was about 20 minutes from Louisville and 17 from Boulder reservoir. It was nice to be in an area away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.

Amazing

Our family loved our stay at the ThunderDome. If you are looking for a quiet place with plenty of space and a nice view, this is it! Such a unique home that is clean, inviting and cozy. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the city but still in close proximity to many enough that it’s a short drive away from many attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for exploring Boulder and surrounding areas. We had everything we needed at the property and the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Host suggested the Rusty Melon and it really was great! Thank you for letting us stay at The Thunderdome!!!

THUNDERDOME IS AWESOME

The place was spotless upon arrival. Perfect getaway for my wife and I. The amenities were great. Arcade machine made me think of my younger years. The icing on the cake is that this neighborhood is connected to an air park so my wife and I were able to sit on the porch on a beautiful day and watch the planes cruise over this community. Tammy was also an amazing help and an awesome communicator!

Quaint and Comfortable

The host was very kind and kept communication open regarding some maintenance to be done to the property at the very beginning of our stay, cant help the weather. The Thunderdome itself was very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood where houses were very well spaced apart and each charming in their own way. This is in stark contrast to the bulk of the housing developments we saw in and around the area, large homes, tiny yards, and tightly packed together. If you're looking for something quaint, quiet, and relaxed, this is the spot for you. If we come back next year for the Shaw Classic we'll most likely stay here again.

beautiful Thunderdome

had excellent communication with the owners! When we walked in it smelled so good and was spotless! 5 yr old grandson loved the jukebox and the Pacman machine! It was quiet and so peaceful! Also got to see hot air balloons and 1 airplane! coyotes were howling last night, some might not like that but I loved it, they were aways out. If we ever need a place again this will be our go to place!! Thankyou so much

Cozy house, great for family of five

The house is brighter and more spacious than in the pictures. We enjoyed the unique location -- we saw hot air balloons and horseback riders in the morning and a few small planes taking off. Our boys enjoyed the PacMan and the large flatscreen TV. The host was very welcoming and communicative. There was a heavy smell of cleaning chemicals upon entry. Our boys did not notice it, but we slept with the windows open. Convenient to both Longmont and Boulder.

CU Graduation

We had a crew come out for my daughter’s graduation. Grandma and grandpa, their small dog and my other daughter and infant son. We were all very comfortable in the “dome” and it was perfect for our family. I saw in the listing the arcade machine and didn’t think much of it until we got there. It was a hit with everyone and there were lots of competitions. We didn’t get to use the deck and fire pit because of the rain but it looked like a nice place to hang out. We would definitely stay there the next time we are up in the area.

At Home in the Dome

What a fantastic idea. Our family picked this geodesic dome for our weekend family vacation because of the fun and unique design of the space. The backyard airfield is also a fun idea and our boys just thought that was cool. Here’s what we loved this location and why I highly recommend choosing this vacation rental for your next trip. Communication with the property owner was prompt and informative. The house is on an acre (looked like to me), super easy to find, and reasonably close to all the Denver attractions. Granted, it’s an older house, but everything was very nice. I especially loved the tall vaulted ceiling. Also, the two bedrooms upstairs were not heard from downstairs in the master bedroom, so some acoustical dampening must have been installed (nice!) We also loved the outdoor patio and fire table which made one morning special. The Pac-Man game and jute box also were a bit hit. I also felt that the rental was reasonably priced. I’m sure I could find something to complain about, but life is all perspective. For all of the above, I give it 5 stars and our family will definitely be coming back!
