Sunset Dreamer is a beautifully decorated gulf front property. This newly renovated vacation home located in Mexico Beach was previously very popular among families traveling to the area (renovations completed April 2021). Offering 3,000 square feet of living space plus 1,700 square feet of deck space, large gulf front decks, 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 half baths, hardwood flooring throughout, wall mounted TVs in each room, breathtaking views of the gulf, and so much more.

To assist in your adventure at Sunset Dreamer, your reservation includes $250 worth of adventure gear rental, delivery fee may apply. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $250 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

2025 Family Spring Break

We had an amazing time! Stayed a week at the end of April with 3 different families, with kids ranging from 2 to 13. The house was perfect for kids, the beach was flawless and very quiet. The heated pool and firepit were great! The property manager was extremely responsive, and check-in/out was very easy. Would highly recommend this property, especially to families with kids!

The property was beautiful and worked great for our family of 11. We had lots of room; the kids loved the arcade games and the pool. The adults loved the easy beach access and enjoying coffee and cocktails on the spacious deck overlooking the gulf. We highly recommend this property.

I can’t say enough great things about this house. Absolutely gorgeous. So comfortable & has everything you need. Just pack your clothes. Beach stuff & pool stuff stocked up at this place. Was just great! The house is so pretty & very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely stay at this house again. The pool & hot tub were perfection. We stayed on the decks all the time. The view of beach made me cry. My entire family got to go on this trip & the memories made were priceless.

So close to the ocean, a short walk away. The house had all the amenities anyone would want. The pool was a real hit for the grandkids, and the hot tub was refreshing for every age. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The decks gave us outstanding views of the ocean.

Awesome house!

Stayed for a week with kids and grandkids. House had everything we needed and more. When we realized we were missing a couple essentials, they took care of it right away. Beach is spectacular and almost empty. We will be back!

We stayed here two years ago and it was perfect. This time it was good but the house has roaches. We killed five that we could see. I can only hope that none came home with us. The lock does not work on one of the sliding doors, so the house is always unlocked. The tall chairs on the back porch need tightening, they are seriously loose. Beyond these issues it is a great place to stay minus the roaches!!!

Great place to stay. Easy to find and right on a beautiful white sand beach. Great place to go and recharge!! The area is still rebuilding after the hurricane from 5 years ago though. If you’re looking for night life and shops this probably shouldn’t be your choice to stay, but if you want a spacious, beautiful home with all the amenities and a gorgeous beach with your family and/or friends, would highly recommend. There are a few good places to eat in Mexico Beach. Take essentials with you because there’s only a Dollar General to shop. Nice furnishings and plenty of outside seating by the pool and jacuzzi also.

Nice house with very few flaws

It is a very nice rental, plenty of place to sit inside and out. The open kitchen/living area makes it fell a lot larger and like it isn’t cramped. A few spots the floor boards are coming up(in kitchen) and the bathtub on the second floor leaked. It is a quiet beach with not a lot to do, if you are looking for a calm place to stay this is it. It has a short walk to the beach and nice pool area. We did see cockroaches but they were only outside, which is completely normal for any beach rental. If you are bringing pets there is not a really good place to walk them.

VRBO listing was with false statement. I am a handicapped person, who was looking for property with elevator. Which was stated in your advertisement. So my activity was limited as I could not move up & down. Complained to Cape & Coast with some additional minor issues, they have agreed to reimburse me $2,500 from rental. I am hoping VRBO will correct their advertisement On this property. There is no elevator on this property.

Be prepared to leave before checkout time!

The day of leave the cleaning company tried getting into the home 1 1/2 hours before checkout time (8:30am). When I called Cape & Coast the women told me we had to be out by 9am (on the listing it says 10am). She says "we go by our time (EST)- not your time (CDT)". She was very rude and adamant. So we had less than 30 mins to get 6 guests out of the house. Mind you, I called when we arrived to ask about check-in and was told not to check in before 5pm. When we checked in at 5pm CDT the cleaning company was just leaving. So therefore, by there "rules" we could've checked in at 4pm? If so, why were the cleaners there? For the price of this rental- I'm beyond frustrated! We drove about 1,500 miles straight each way, so yes this made a huge difference in our stay. The house was beautiful, great views, great location. There were a few things broken (door handles, lights) No remote for the tv in one of the bedrooms. They could've done a better job cleaning (debris under furniture, dusting) Also when opening the hot tub the water was cloudy with a massive amount of brown foam.

Perfect Beach Home

This home is directly on the beach with spectacular views from inside the home. It is well equipped and there was plenty of room for our group of 12. We didn't get to use the pool during our stay because they did not heat it, so that was a little disappointing. Besides the pool not being heated, everything was perfect. We hope to visit again soon.

Great vacation property

Fully stocked home ready for children including high chair, baby gates, crockpot, coffee makers, clothes steamer, food steamer, blender, washer/dryer, vacuum, grill, utensils, etc. Great and fast communication from management company for questions.
