We had a fantastic stay!! The house was absolutely perfect for our group and in a wonderful location to different restaurants, shops, and the beach! We also loved relaxing at the house by the backyard pool. The backyard area was so charming and perfect for relaxation. The communication was really fast and very accommodating to any of our needs. I highly recommend staying here!!
We stayed for a friend’s wedding, and it was perfect for a group of us who weren’t staying in the hotel block. I will say it was a little far from where we needed to be and Ubers/Lyfts did take awhile to arrive, so plan accordingly. Aside from that, we did love the pool and felt the place was the perfect size for our group. It was great hanging out there and relaxing when we weren’t at wedding events. The beds were all super comfortable with extra blankets and fans, which I appreciated! Irina was also very communicative and even let us check in early. If we were to go back to Sarasota, I would definitely try and book again!
We had a lovely month at Tropic Villa! When we first arrived there were many items that were missing in the kitchen such as toaster , vegetable peeler, blender, etc. Irina was great and ordered them on Amazon for us . The house is roomy and close to downtown and many restaurants. The highlight of the house is the private backyard pool. Since the beach is a good 20 minutes away - we spent most of our time in the pool. Great house for the two of us and occasional overnight guests.
Tropic Villa exceed my expectations!!! The house is exactly as described. Neighborhood is safe , close to grocery store, pharmacy, downtown and the beach . The house is clean , spacious , kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need , even species , salt , sugar . I travel with my family to celebrate Father’s Day and my
Mom birthday and we had the most wonderful time ever . The patio is like being in paradise that we spend the whole stay at it , we didn’t want to go out , lol. We will definitely return .

**Formal Escalation Request – Multiple Maintenance Problems, Food Loss, and Unresponsive Host I am extremely frustrated with how our complaint has been handled and am requesting that Vrbo escalate this matter to a supervisor or appropriate resolution team. Our stay was negatively affected by multiple maintenance problems at the property. Instead of having the relaxing vacation we expected, we spent a significant amount of our time communicating with the host about problems that should have been properly addressed at the property. The first major issue was the **refrigerator not working properly**. We notified the host immediately, but instead of sending someone to repair the refrigerator during our stay, the host provided bags of ice as a temporary solution. The ice melted quickly and was not sufficient to keep our food properly refrigerated. As a result, food including meat, bread, and other groceries spoiled.Because we could not safely store our food, we were also forced to eat out more than we had planned, which resulted in additional and unexpected expenses. The host told us that she would send someone to repair the refrigerator **after we left, approximately a week later**. This was not a reasonable solution because we needed a functioning refrigerator during our stay. There was also another maintenance issue with the **shower water being stuck/clogged and not draining properly**. We had to contact the host about this issue as well. Although the shower issue was fix

Alexandra was a difficult guest to deal with. Unfortunately you can't make all guests happy and that was the case here. Upon notifying us of the refrigerator issue (the day after they checked in)- I immediately placed a call to my warranty provider since this was a brand new fridge and was covered under warranty. They placed me on schedule at their earliest available day which happened to be the same day that Alexandras group was checking out since they were only staying for 6 days. In the meantime, I provided them with 2 coolers and delivered 6 bags of ice daily to keep their food from spoiling. I understand this wasn't the best situation to be in but some things are out of our control and I tried to do everything I can to accommodate her. I even offered her a $300 refund which she refused but kept complaining about everything. The tech was able to fix the refrigerator the same day and we haven't had any issues since then.
This place is absolutely adorable both inside and out! It was a great fit for our girls’ trip, and the outdoor area might be even better than the photos- such a cute, fun setup.Inside, the house was overall well-equipped and comfortable for our group. One hiccup we encountered was that the listing originally showed five beds, but the host let me know about a week before our stay that one had to be removed due to city code regulations. While she did provide an air mattress (with sheets) to make up for it, there weren’t any extra blankets available in the house, which made things a bit tricky. I do wish we had been informed about the bed situation sooner, since it was a big factor in choosing this property. That said, the host was communicative, and the air mattress helped accommodate everyone in our group of 10. The outdoor shower was not operational during our stay, which wasn’t a huge issue but a small letdown.Overall, this is a great rental, especially for a slightly smaller group. We had a wonderful time and I would stay here again.
Although the home is well kept and pet friendly, the front yard is all rock and the back yard is pool and shell. There is not one patch of grass on the property. This set up is not conducive for pets. The pool was a mess with tons of leaves and actually had socks at the bottom of the pool. Our stay here was not a pleasure/vacation stay so we had no plans to use the pool. I did notify the host about the pool and they sent someone out to clean it. Looking for a blanket as Sarasota was having a cold spell, opening the bi fold doors in the hall fell one me. My husband was somewhat able to fix it so it would stay. The master bedroom has an TV but no remote to turn it on. For the price we paid for 3 nights, I highly doubt we would rent this unit again. All in all our stay was fine.
Moment you walk in, you feel like you are in a relaxed, take-it-easy state-of-mind! Place is very clean, crisp and open. Home flows very well with the living area flowing into the dining area and onto the open kitchen. The backyard is very serene and the pool is fantastic. Furnished very nicely with great linens. Also, you are so close to downtown Sarasota and also an easy drive to Lido Beach and St. Armand’s. We will definitely return!
This place was absolutely perfect for us! We had everything that we needed and communication with the owner was great!
We were able to make memories with the family and enjoy the fantastic weather! We are already hoping that we can visit again soon and stay at this same place!
