Quiet location close to city

This was perfect for us. We traveled with two adults, one infant, and a three year old. There was plenty of space for us and it was pretty quiet all day. The backyard is partially fenced in on the sides but not in the back. It was easy to get to things in the city when we went out. The host messaged several times to make sure everything was going ok. Overall it was a good experience!

It's what is on the inside that counts & it's charming

This walkout rambler style home has been duplexed & updated with charming results. We stayed in the walkout unit in back (with parking for your vehicle also in back). The home is average in appearance from the outside but once you get inside your whole world changes. Spacious, updated decor that could appear in a magazine with its recessed lighting, attractive & easy clean flooring, and great cooling & ventilation systems. It is spacious with two bedrooms, living room, den, kitchen and dining area. This owner cares about this place as she has provided many amenities for guests beyond coffee filters, dishware & a flat screen TV. An assortment of some spices are in the cabinets, an array of cooking knives, Q-tips & cotton balls in attractive jars in the bathroom (along with specialty soaps & lotions), specialty plants throughout. And it's clean, clean, clean. We were very pleased & felt immediately at home. About the only draw back we could find was the area seemed a bit run down. Homes on the same street are in various states of repair. Some were just fine & were well maintained while others, including one two houses down, was gutted & going through what appeared to be a suspended rehab effort. But despite the sketchy neighborhood it was quiet at night & having parking in back by our unit we felt secure in home & vehicle. This is a terrific value if you can live with the setting. We will certainly stay here again when we come to visit family.

cozy stay

The space was well arranged. Really enjoyed what i called the "quiet room". Recommended place to stay, communication was excellent, will be staying again.

Bad experience

Listing was misleading at best, I was expecting a condo but it was a basement. I purchased insurance but when my car was damaged due to shooting on the street I was informed my car wouldn’t be covered. The Tv did not work for the first few days

This guest had extra individual(s) in the unit. I was told that I would get name(s) but this never happened. They are two new telvisions (about 6 months old) One in the bedroom was stuck because a prior guest put on a parental control code on it. We contact the former guest, Amazon Prime and the Geek Squad to clear the code. The following day I hired a technician and got a new TV installed. The guest was aware of this. The guest later text me stating his vehicle was shot in the driveway. I told him to file a police report. He did not. A neighbor filed a report and I learned that someone fired a shot(s). I also learned that when the police questioned this individual they were told it was his cousin's car and the cousin did not want to talk with the police. It is recorded from the beginning I offered this guest the opportunity to leave. He did not. I kept VRBO informed.
