Clean, excellent condition. Everything we needed was there. The only negative thing was the house was 79 degrees when we arrived, and it took several hours for it to cool down. Once house cooled down the ac unit maintained a comfortable temperature. Recommend keeping t-stat set at a lower temp during warmer seasons. Enjoyed the stay, hope to rent again in the future.

Why they chose this property

We chose Bear Creek Crossing because it offers something rare in the Smokies: a gated resort community with genuinely easy access. The roads to the cabin are smooth and flat the whole way — no steep or winding mountain driving — which makes arrival stress-free in any season, even winter.

The resort itself feels like a vacation before you even reach the cabin: a year-round heated indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, mini golf, and a beautiful waterfall as you drive in. It's quiet and family-friendly, with neighbors nearby but plenty of space between cabins.
