While you are staying at the Inn, be sure to check out Olympic Discovery Trail that is located just steps away from cabooses. The route spans around 135 miles between Port Townsend and La Push on the Pacific Coast. As of 2021, 90 miles of the trail have been developed into a complete path. Besides the rail cars, your kids will have a blast exploring the Olympic Game Farm, a drive-through wildlife exhibit, where animals come right up to your vehicle! This good ol train car has seen a few gunshots back in the days but now it offers such comforts as an electric fireplace, a flatscreen TV with a DVD player, a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The front of the rail car has a small bar-style table and a queen bed.
