This cottage is adorable! The host left us milk from a farm for our coffee, coffee and left bananas and muffins for us a well. We were just passing through from South Carolina on way to New Hampshire but every little detail was so cute. It was spotless! The bed was extremely comfortable!

Cozy cottage. Small shopping center very close by has any essentials. Hosts very welcoming. Pet friendly with hints for local dog walking and pet care resources. Could use a comfortable chair for relaxing.

Alison and Fergus, the hosts, were quick to respond to any inquiries that I had. The cottage was clean, private, quiet, and exactly what I was looking for. It had a fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, air fryer/electric oven and the hosts provided coffee, tea, fresh fruit and muffins. The bed was very comfortable and so was the temperature in the cottage. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay.

The cabin was clean and inviting. The host was excellent with communication. The place is as described, and pet friendly. I also will add that the kitchenette and fridge was perfect and very helpful as we have some dietary needs.

Lovely muffins, fruit, coffee, cream/milk provided for breakfast, which was a treat. Futon has sunk into a hole, so don’t plan on sleeping there or sitting to watch tv as there’s no back rest. It’s private with a big grassy yard, which our dog enjoyed.

A lovely place and stay

The cottage was just as described, with ample, well-designed, and lovely space indoors and out. The owners were incredibly hospitable and I was very appreciative of the fruit and muffins that greeted me upon arrival! I would most certainly stay there again!

A weekend in June!

We stayed at the “cozy country cottage” two nights during a family gathering at our son’s house only 12 minutes away. The cottage is very comfortable, was a perfect location for us and in very close proximity to Ridgefield as well as local museums, hiking trails and dining.
