We absolutely loved the cabin! It was so convenient to the landmarks we wanted to go to. It was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing deer out in the morning. I recommend this place to everyone. It was wonderful! The property manager responded to messages very fast.

The cabin was very nice. I appreciated all the lawn area and the basketball hoop. We arrived at 12AM and they had the lights on for us. Unfortunately we didn't realize this and thought it must not be our cabin so would have been nice to know they were doing this. Cabin was a little smaller than I expected but it was very comfortable and clean. I loved the front porch, the quiet and the train!
The train traveling out of Keystone. We enjoyed seeing it and it was never noisey.

Super cozy little cabin right next to atv rentals to ride the trails! The 1880 train runs right through the back yard and is fun to watch go by!

Cozy cabin close to Mt. Rushmore

The cabin was cute and the layout was perfect for our family. Close to Mt. Rushmore and all sorts of other attractions. Communication was great. Would definitely book again!

Great stay

My husband and I came for our anniversary trip and had a very nice stay! We brought our own UTV and were able to park our trailer easily. Cabin was very clean! Wi-fi was a little spotty, but we didn't need to use it much. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Clean, well-maintained, full (but tiny) kitchen. Owners very helpful, and had great activity suggestions. Lots to do in the area!! Strongly recommend!

Perfect cottage for girls getaway

This was the perfect size for a couple of college friends catching up after many years! Easy access to Keystone, Hill City, etc. The cottage was clean and comfortable for us. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the picnic table out front and sitting on the porch. Loved hearing the 1880 train as it passed by and waving at the people on board. Quiet and peaceful! Definitely planning on staying here again!

Blended Family 1st Vacation

This property was fantastic! The only reason we gave 4 stars is the fact that if you are expecting space for 6 people, it’s tight! We had 2 adults and 3 kids and felt a little cramped. Everyone had a place to lay their heads, but it was tight. I do wish there was room for suitcases to be open in the bedrooms. But overall, we loved the property, and would come again, but choose a bigger cabin for our next stay.

The cabin was clean, kitchen stocked and bed comfy. The location was great very close to all the area attractions. WiFi was a bit spotty but if it hadn’t rained we wouldn’t have been in the cabin long enough to notice. Highly recommend.

The property was awesome.the 1880 train goes right by the cabins and it is located well to travel out for the morning, return to make a light lunch and then travel back out after lunch.Can't say enough how much we where impressed with the cabin.it was very clean and had all the amenities of home.

Its small but cozy and perfect for our family of 4 (my husband and myself, my 19 yr old and our dog). We had a minor hiccup with the door code but they came right over and fixed the issue. The place was clean. The location was awesome and only a mile and a half outside Keystone

Why they chose this property

Becki's family is originally from Keystone. She has relatives that helped pioneer the town as well as help carve Mt. Rushmore. Jarod's family is from Wall & Kadoka, South Dakota, the Badlands area. Beside Mt. Rushmore being the National Monument, Keystone is full of living history of the miner era that once made the town thrive. The Black Hills is also full of geological history & a favorite for rock hunters, which we are, & rock climbers, which we aren't:). The small hometown atmosphere of the Black Hills as well as the many diverse sites & attractions makes this the perfect place to make memories for a lifetime, again & again.
