Classy private guest suite adjacent to home. Quiet neighborhood with close access to I-80/ski slopes. 5 min to Sugarhouse/10 min to downtown/20-30 min to great skiing/hiking.

Upstairs private entrance, 3/4 bathroom, kitchenette (excluding over/dishwasher), high end bedding, private driveway spot. The apartment is located above the garage of the main house in our super safe, charming neighborhood.

Great Stay in a Great Area

We visited SLC for a music festival and this was the perfect spot for me and my boyfriend. The area is super great with lots of good food spots close by and the studio was super cozy and easy to access.

My husband and I stayed at the property while visiting our son at the U. It was in a great location for us and the property was clean and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again on our visits.

Accurate description of a great setup for two

Cozy gem!

I stayed here for a long weekend to visit my daughter. This little studio was just perfect. The neighborhood was wonderful, the apartment clean, communication was easy. And a bonus was a visit with the sweetest little pups who live at the home!!

Cute and clean apartment close to everything!

This apartment was super clean and cool and exactly as described. My momma stayed there and it was the perfect size for an older woman. The property is minutes from the highway and seconds from a main road, but is quiet. My mom enjoyed her stay immensely and we will certainly be back to stay when she visits SLC again!!

We will be back, no question! We visit SLC several times a year and are always looking for a place to stay that is clean, stylish, comfortable and convenient. This property has it all. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay.

Sweet Spot!

We could not have been happier staying in this Sugarhouse Studio! The owner was delightful and very gracious when we held up his lawn maintenance by parking in a bad spot. His dog and visiting dog were sweet and funny, and the location worked perfectly for us. We will hope to stay here again the next time we visit SLC! Thank you!!!

Clean and stylish and comfortable

Very clean. Easy to find. Well appointed mini kitchen. The stairs were a surprise and a little steep but were OK for me to climb with bags. Might be too strenuous

Cozy, Comfortable, and Wonderful!!

We loved staying here. Their puppy Honey is so cute! We appreciated all the extra thought that when into this place from the big towels, extra mini fan, to the cozy seating areas. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures!! TV, AC, and ceiling fan all worked perfectly with no problems. Cleaning rules for checkout was the most easiest one I have seen. Definitely very quiet and spacious for a husband and wife to relax after a long day of touring what the city has to offer. Will 100% book again! Thank you!!!

Perfect studio apt set up for me & my husband. You could see the time and care the host put into decorating and furnishing the apt! We had everything we needed. It was so quiet and comfortable that we both slept better than usual when traveling. We went into DT SLC and to Provo so location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this apt as long as you can walk up and down stairs with no problem. It is located above their garage. They are putting a pool in their back yard so the back yard is different than pictured but the construction equipment was never running during our stay. I’m guessing that was intentional which was appreciated. Loved being able to park in the driveway! We never figured out how to cast from our phone to the tv but my husband only wanted to watch some of the Ryder cup and the Reds so he just watched on his phone. The weather was absolutely perfect our entire stay so loved being able to open the window and enjoy the fresh fall air. We had a 6 am flight to Utah so we had been in the sun all day exploring and playing pickleball so when I contacted the host to see if we could check in a little early, they responded right away and said yes. This is a great vrbo host!!

Loved Our Stay

My husband and I flew into SLC for a body building competition. And let me tell you these hosts were amazing! As we pretty stayed in our place most of the time, meal prepping, eating and resting. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, and the space was perfect for just the two of us. The hosts were so kind, and got us the few things we asked for. And the backyard is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs patio listening to the water fountain. We would definetly recommend this VRBO!

We are avid travelers. We enjoy staying at nice, clean, and comfortable places. We have a young daughter and two small extremely friendly dogs (Honey) and (Buddy) on site. We've designed our unit to be a place we would want to stay in. Our motto is if we wouldn't stay there, we wouldn't want anyone else to either.

Why they chose this property

This property is attached to our home above our garage. We had the extra space and thought why not? We've been fortunate enough to have a great house and space and we've really enjoying having short term rentals. While we give everyone their space, we have met some really great people.

What makes this property unique

Our place is designed for you to rest easy and have a great place that is close to downtown and the slopes, but is in a quiet wonderful neighborhood. Unfortunately, downtown and other areas have some challenging elements (i.e. noise and homelessness), but here you don't have to worry about any of that at night and you can feel secure with your car and belongings.
