About this property

OUTDOOR DETAILS:
A private deck with Adirondack Chairs
Hammocks, a picnic table and firepit are key outdoor features this tent offers.
We believe in our guest's comfort over adding too many units. For this reason, most of our accommodation is at least 50 yards away from each other to provide maximum privacy.

SUSTAINABILITY:
We are a husband-and-wife team that purchased raw land in 2020 and have been building Glamping Canyonlands ever since. We privately own and operate a sustainable off grid property. We are a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy pasture raised chickens. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We use simple, clean, natural cleaning products. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip.

COMMUNAL BATHROOMS:
We do not have your average communal camping bathrooms. 4 modern private bathrooms are kept spotless for our guests. A one of a kind skygazing domed bathroom offers an outdoor showering experience without the bugs and dirt. 2 full bathrooms, 1 toilet room and 1 shower room provide plenty options for everyone.

COMMUNAL KITCHEN AND GRILLING DECK:
Fully equipped with stove, toaster, toaster pots, pans, seasoning, plates, cutlery, mixing bowls, washing up supplies, etc.
Refrigerator available to all guests. Coolers also available to borrow during your stay and to take on your adventures.

1 propane flattop grill and BBQ grill.
Adirondack Chairs and picnic tables with solar string lights.

Open to all guests 24 hours.

KEY FEATURES:
Locally roasted coffee/tea delivery service and self-serve breakfast is available.
A vintage fridge has been converted into a free library.
A ton of free board games, card games, Jenga, and cornhole are available to borrow.
No pets are allowed. We do have many friendly free range chickens. We sell their organic eggs!
Sauna is available by appointment upon arrival.
Starlink Wifi available.
Monthly Astronomy Tours.
Firewood, fire starter, propane tanks (for heaters) and smores are available to purchase.
Walking path for evening or morning strolls and runs.

LOCATION:
Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park (the hikers paradise park!)
Our land borders Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands and State Trust Lands which means you have a panoramic view of the desert landscape and dark skies.
We are surrounded by Dark Sky National Parks, State Park, Monuments and communities. Because of this, light population is almost non-existent.

We built this place to be an escape or a place to unwind from our busy and loud daily lives. Embrace the break from the daily grind and find space here on the open desert.
We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning. When you call, email or have questions, you will be talking with us.

We hope to welcome you!

Friendly and patient

I absolutely loved our stay at this property. We had a little hiccup when we first got there but Keisha was so kind and genuinely wiling to help that it didn’t even made the issue, an issue. I highly recommend this property.

We are outdoor enthusiasts; love hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, mountain biking, snowboarding, etc. As we've gotten older, our pace has admittedly slowed down, but we still get out there whenever we can. We also love food, travel, music, life, our fur babies and a lot of other things.

We've been married since 2012 and best friends since 2006. In fact, it was our honeymoon in the Canyonlands National Park that inspired us to open Glamping Canyonlands, our eco-friendly, off-grid campground. If there is anything specific you'd like to know about us, just ask!

We hope we get the opportunity to meet you in the near future!

Why they chose this property

We choose this property because we cannot think of a more perfect place to live. We have traveled inside the United States and outside. If you ask me now, where is my ideal location, I would say Southern Utah. Ask me in 20 years, I would say the same. This is why I moved here.

What makes this property unique

Stargazing! Most nights you will see the Milky Way without trying. We are close to Canyonlands National Park, The Needles District.
French Press coffee served to your tent door every morning around sunrise!
